Outstanding. We were there with our daughter and the grand boys and there was something even for our finicky grandsons. Service, drinks and food was excellent. This maybe our go to place even for our out of town friends.
Music was a vibe but would never return to this restaurant. Our waitress took a long time to come to our table. Half of our order did not come to the table- literally half of everything we ordered never came. Waitress was unaware and had to tell her to remove it from the bill at the end. Bill was brought without asking if there was anything else we wanted ie dessert. She gave some excuse about the system being wonky but her inattentiveness I'm sure played a huge part. Had to call her over to get water and the last time I asked she never even got the water. I was excited to try out this restaurant but I will not return based on the service.

My daughter found this place for us while we were visiting. While celebrating our anniversary. It's a nice spot with some very good food. Service was also good. I was a little disappointed in how they took care of an issue that happened, though. But all in all I would go there again when I'm in town. They're a little pricey, though. But the food is good. I had the Jerk Oxtail. It's spicy but good. Get ready to wipe your nose while you eat. Be sure to get that cornbread. Whew! It's good. The southern chicken strips are tasty also. Enjoy!

Me and my aunt went on EiD and despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated in no time! Pam was moving like MJ from the Chicago Bulls in the Finals… she gave the ultimate hospitable experience. Great playlist, our food was spectacular.
First time customer ?Visited on 3/27;. was greeted with a pleasant smile & seated right away. Great attention to service. Ordered apps, entrée and dessert. Beautiful presentation with the hummus app, the oxtails were really good and would definitely order them again but the bread pudding was ok-needed more moisture. This restaurant is a hidden gem in West Philly and def will be back!

The hostess Pam left her station to assist my elderly aunt & father in law once they were out of the car. She helped them navigate the sidewalk into the restaurant to their seats while I parked. My husband had knee surgery and was doing his best to get them safely inside . Thank goodness for Pam compassion , kindness and generosity. She really made my day. Carly our serviced provided excellent service . She was attentive, professional and kind. My husband & I have always had a great experience here. It’s a favorite when we are in town. Today was exceptional. Pam May God bless you ! You were an Angel to me & my family! I truly appreciate what you did!!!!

We really enjoyed our brunch experience today at Booker’s. We made a reservation online, and were seated right away. The ambience is beautiful and we love that there is an awning outside because it was very rainy today. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The strawberry cheesecake stuffed French toast is amazing. Home fries are delicious. We also loved the champagne and juice tasters to create our own mimosas. I got the salad with shrimp and an order of calamari. My meal was less than average and grossly overpriced, but it's my fault. This is not the place to go to for a salad. I should have ordered one of their specialities since the folks around me ( the place was packed) really seemed to be enjoying their food.

We are visiting from san diego california. Bookers is just a few blocks down from our airbnb. We decided to take a stroll and it ended up at bookers. Absolutely amazing food, The ambiance was perfect. The service was great and the food simply delicious.
The happy hour is great! Had buffalo cauliflower at the bar. Then, ate outside and ordered vegetarian jambalaya, which was delicious! Great restaurant. Highly recommend this fun restaurant with yummy food.
