Focaccia di Recco: Don't recommend. Having just visited friends who live in the Liguria region of Italy (where focaccia is from), Ive had so much focaccia and cheese focaccia. This focaccia is advertised as being traditional Ligurian cheese focaccia, but it was certainly not. It was a cracker. And it wasnt cheesy. My lactose intolerant boyfriend was even able to eat some because the cheese was so scarce.

I wanted to give the restaurant a few months to hit their stride before making my opinion and I am glad I did. Went to dinner on a busy Saturday night and the entire dining room was packed. Service was excellent and did not feel slow as others have pointed out. There was a plethora of waitstaff, bussers and managers circulating around the room checking in on every table. This restaurant came highly recommended from so many of our friends so we decided to try it out with our neighbors. When the four of us arrived we were really taken aback with how beautiful the restaurant looked. We were given such a warm greeting by the ladies at the hostess stand and then shown to a nice corner table upstairs in the restaurant.
