This bar is very inclusive and welcoming. I came in for shelter from the cold because I’d missed my Greyhound bus and had to wait for the next one arriving at 2am. The staff were so nice and made me feel safe. The karaoke half upstairs was such a great vibe! One of the employees sings a mean Alicia Keys! lol. I’m booking a hotel next month for the weekend just to visit this bar again!

We walked in during the lull from brunch to dinner, and it limited the menu. What was on it during that time was good enough to keep us around for dinner. The cocktails are great, and the staff was super friendly. Check out those Powerpuff Girls cocktails. They slap.

Lovely One
First time visiting this mini bar with my colleague about a week ago. The food was mediocre, not impressed. The floors felt sticky, which immediately made me uncomfortable. I also noticed short Hispanic man digging his nose at register area by the kitchen door!! GROSS!!! The staff doesn’t seem friendly at all, especially when you state your concerns to them, immediate attitude. Won’t be back!

Not at all pleasant experience! Let’s just say this trip almost landed me at the dentist! I had plastic in my food!
I've been to Bourbon & Branch quite a few times but never wrote a review. The atmosphere is cozy and lovely, bartender is friendly and server is attentive. We ordered Mahi Mahi tacos and fried chicken and waffles, but they had run out of Mahi, so we opted for the salmon tacos instead. The food was delicious, the taco sauce was savory and the fried chicken was bursting with flavor! They also serve really good drinks.

When a friend and I first stepped in the restaurant, we were not greeted by anyone. Please keep in mind this was our first time here. There were only two people dining in and three people sitting in the back. We stood there and after no recognition, grabbed menus and seated ourselves. After sitting down, we were still never greeted until after a few minutes went by and one of the three people finally said “Hey guys!” All three of the people sitting there were workers and didn’t say anything to us until we sat ourselves! We decided to not get anything and leave. DO NOT GO HERE. TELL A FRIEND TO TELL A FRIEND that this is the restaurant with the poorest customer service known to man.

We were headed to Virginia and we had time to kill before the next bus. We were wandering around when we came across this place. The vibes are amazing and Haley behind the bar was so sweet (happy birthday again!). We’re definitely coming back next time we’re in Philly :)
