My food was great, my husband's was not, but that's after waiting forever to put in a food order. Our server was prompt in getting us our drinks when we first sat down, but after that it was near impossible to get her attention.
Then what was nice background music was turned into overly loud basketball game. I couldn't even have a conversation without yelling. I went up to the hostess to ask if there was a way to turn it down because again, the music wasn't nearly this loud, she turned to what I think was her manager and he said no curtly and went back to watching the game. I don't think he moved from that spot the entire time we were there.
We decided to go to Bru because we had been there before and the food was good, but we remembered that service was not great. We wanted to give it one more try. Will probably not come back if the service continues this way.

The bartenders were nice but the door staff were unnecessary rude.

Definitely wouldn’t go there never ever again. It was my first time and never seen any place that racist. Rude staff and security
The worst experience I have ever had. They’re racist….
Not a bad place. Wurst is good and reasonably priced. Service could've been better. Would be nice if they offered an N/A beer option or two.

Food was good for the price, seems like it’s in need of some better management, our waiter wouldn’t check on us and we had to interrupt the bar staff all having shots to get our check and leave.

⭐☆☆☆☆
Absolute joke of a place. The bouncers are on a power trip, confiscating real IDs and refusing to give them back. Had to call the police just to get mine returned, and now they won’t let me back in because they got caught. Completely unprofessional and petty. If you want to deal with egos instead of enjoying your night, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that actually respects its customers.
BRÜ Craft & Wurst, Tradesman’s, and U-Bahn are all owned by Craft Concepts Group, a Philadelphia-based hospitality company led by Teddy Sourias. They also operates other establishments in the city, including Finn McCool’s Ale House, Uptown Beer Garden, and Tinsel.

someone robbed me - simply this place sucks
Bartender with an attitude pocketed our change (change was less than what his tip would’ve been) and poured our beers with too much foam. Left after one gross beer.
Not a bad spot, the food is good, I love the German beer selection it's better than many places which is why I keep coming back

The wings were great, but $30 for wings and a cider is steep; we also had to ask for waters and felt the service was not great. The vibe was also killed when someone came up to us (presumably a worker) and asked if we wanted to sign up for Draft Kings to spin a ‘wheel of prizes’. Have never seen that in a restaurant before and hope to never see it again.
