This was a good find. We love German food and this hit the spot. Food and service was excellent. Probably could get in without reservations on off-peak times, but I’d make one just to be safe.
Great German restaurant and local hangout with a very nice atmosphere and good service. Extensive German and microbrew Bear list with excellent sizeable portioned hearty German food located in the heart of Philadelphia.
Very authentic German meat selection. I went with a German and this is one of the better German restaurants they’ve been to in the states (in terms of the meat selection - the wines and pretzels, not so much). Huge portions, great beer and mixed drink variety, though not much wine selection. The SchweineHaxe was amazing - everyone loved it. Avoid the pretzels and chicken wings.
