Brown Street Cafe

This was a wonderful stop on our last day in Philly! The breakfast was the best we’ve had on our trip (even better than we could’ve made at home) and the coffee was incredible (10/10, I’ll definitely be ordering some online). The prices were surprisingly low for how good everything was. Add in the friendliest service, and you’ve got a hidden gem we’ll absolutely visit again next time we’re in the area.

My wife and I bought a fish sandwich, a fish hoagie, and fries today for lunch. The fish sandwich and fries were fine. For the fish hoagie I asked for mayonnaise, onions, and peppers on it. Whoever made the fish hoagie smothered it in mayonnaise which made it uneatable. So I couldn't eat the hoagie and had to throw it away.

Anything less than 5 stars you capping. Service was all that. Had a breakfast sandwich after coming from a flight and I almost turned around to grab another but I was on 95 already lol. Highly recommend this spot located inside ShopRite. Almost forgot the latte was fantastic and made expeditiously💯

I got the fried fish with fries and it was absolutely delicious. Seasoned to perfection and crispy! I’m definitely coming back

In town for work and always find time to stop in… such a warm and lmlovely environment the staff create.

Such a gem. I had wonderful experience getting to chat with the team and others at the cafe front, which is exactly one of the driving forces behind Brown Street Cafe; coffee and community. Super friendly, great coffee, and my breakfast sandwiches were fantastic! Even though it has been many years since I lived in Philly, they made me feel right at home. I really hope to visit again soon.

A Hidden Gem Inside ShopRite!

I never expected to find such incredible coffee in a ShopRite, but here I am, a regular! They make the best coffee I’ve had—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed every single time. It’s such a pleasant surprise to find such quality in a supermarket, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Whether I’m grabbing a quick cup before shopping or just looking for a pick-me-up, I’m never disappointed. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by!
