This restaurant has been better and better each time we visit. The home made orecchiette with ossobuco ragu was so flavorful. The thinly sliced beet salad and its dressing was the best I ever had... and I am a beet lover. We also shared the seabass plated in a red pepper beurre blanc ...oh my! We could not pass on desserts. The chocolate chip cannoli was filled with a ricotta filling sweetened to perfection and with the perfect consistency. My husband who is not a tiramisu fan could not stop eating the almond tiramisu. So as a reward he was presented with a piece of Belgian chocolate mousse cake to die for. Cant wait to return. Of course the byob is also a nice perk.

The food was excellent as was the service. Added bonus was it's a BYOB place. It was a first time visit for us but we definitely plan to make it back.

Consistently great food and service, this is our four or fifth time at Burrata over several years and the quality and flavor of the food and service is always great

We were there for the first time on 10/16/25. As per the reviews, it was outstanding! We will definitely be back soon, this time with other friends and family!

Wonderful meals and appetizer too. Rigatoni and bronzina were perfect. Went Tuesday and going back tonight Thursday. :) Take your own wine! Enjoy!!

Love this restaurant - the menu, service, and vibe never disappoint. They are constantly evolving the menu and always have great nightly specials, making it the kind of place you can enjoy again and again.

This was our second time at Burrata and it did not disappoint. I have been dreaming about their gnocchi for 2 years and the gnocchi with the crabmeat and peas in a tomato cream sauce was so good- light and pillowly. This dish was even better than I went to Sorrento. My husband had the sea scallops in with risotto and they were done perfectly in a lemon butter sauce. We shared the spicy mussels in a saffron tomato broth and they were also tasty. We sat outside on a beautiful night and I would highly recommend for people watching.

An absolute diamond in South Philly - spectacular food (the pork chop OMG) with top service and ambiance for a most reasonable price. This is 100% my favorite "go-to" neighborhood restaurant from here on out.

We had the pleasure of eating outside on a lovely September (2025) evening. Fabulous and interesting first courses followed by more traditional but very good Italian pastas. Wicked desserts! Our waiter was wonderful .

Me and my husband had been wanting to try Burrata for couple of years and we finally made a reservation for our anniversary to visit this beautiful place! Food was too notch. It's was delicious and perfectly proportional. It came out at a nice timely manner! We loved that it was BYOB. Unfortunately our experienced there was not the best at the end. Our waiter told us that other guests were waiting for our table after only being at our table for 1 hr. We still had wine to finish and we felt that it was rude that we were asked to leave as another table next to us was seated before us and there was other open tables around as well! I asked the waiter why we were being asked to leave and tried to give me a nonsense excuse. We chugged our wine and left since we didn't feel welcome anymore.

We ordered the beet salad to share as a starter. It was good and enough for 2 people. My husband's tuna/pappardelle special was tasty even though the tuna was overcooked and a bit tough. The sauce still had a nice flavor. I ordered the shrimp/lobster ravioli, which was just ok. The filling tasted like some sort of paste-like mixture of shrimp and something else, but I didn't taste or see any lobster. It was also too salty. I would not order it again. This was our first visit so it may have been an off night. I'd go back and try other dishes based on what others have said and the service, which was very good

We had cause to celebrate and there was a simply gorgeous day of 70 degrees, lightest of light breeze and humidity below 50% in Philly, so we ate outside on the sidewalk. Carlino (hope I got that right) was amazing. Walking through the menu, hustling, always noticing where we were and anticipating what we might need ("a little more bread", etc.). We shared a burrata - hey, it is the restaurant name! Gotta do it! Nice prosciutto, pickled in balsamic bell pepper strips, and with the fresh bread - amazing! Mrs. had a seafood combo (Including octopus) with orecchiette (special of the night). I had the 4-cheese crusted chicken with the risotto. If you get this dish, eat the chicken and risotto in the same bite, not back and forth. The flavors meld together in an incremental way somehow when in the same bite. Just the right size portion. Not so for the seafood special. The other half will be on the dinner table tonight :-) Overall a wonderful night made all the better by Carlino! We will be back. BYOB. $100 with a generous tip. Check them out, but don't book on the nights we want to get a reservation :-) G

Small restaurant, but cozy. Service was very good, prompt. Food was delicious. Burrata appetizer was very good, enough for 2 people. Pasta dishes very good.
