a neighborhood gem. Burrata is such a good restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere invites you in. I will always recommend the mussels, carpaccio, orecchiette, and branzino but everything on the menu is consistently delicious. I recently went with a large party (7) and was surprised how easily we were accommodated by the restaurant as many places in Philly want parties under six. Joe was our server and he was fantastic! I can’t recommend this BYO enough.

The food was good overall. THe burrata, Cesar salad and the tuna were delicious. The brussel sprouts and the pasta dish were fresh but didn't have a lot of flavor.

Burrata has clearly built something meaningful in the neighborhood. I pass by often and it is always full, and the hospitality reflects that. Service was excellent from start to finish. Thoughtful pacing, consistent attention, and real accommodation, including helping us dine together when one of us ordered less and being welcoming to a vegetarian. TJ, Nina, and the rest of the team never let us want for anything. For me, the food was okay overall and came from a place of real intention. The dishes had strong ingredients and thoughtful ideas, but at times there was a bit too much happening for my taste. I found myself wishing for more restraint and simplicity, allowing the main ingredients to speak for themselves and shine. On a busy Friday night it can be easy for a kitchen to feel pressure to perform, but this place has clearly built something solid and well loved, and it feels like a kitchen that can trust that foundation and let the food be what it is. Everything was well-timed and served hot, which I appreciated. I would happily return for the warmth, care, and atmosphere.

We had a delicious dinner! We enjoyed the mussels and the tomato broth was delicious! We had the pork chop and it was so tasty! The tiramisu was the cap to fantastic evening!

This restaurant has been better and better each time we visit. The home made orecchiette with ossobuco ragu was so flavorful. The thinly sliced beet salad and its dressing was the best I ever had... and I am a beet lover. We also shared the seabass plated in a red pepper beurre blanc ...oh my! We could not pass on desserts. The chocolate chip cannoli was filled with a ricotta filling sweetened to perfection and with the perfect consistency. My husband who is not a tiramisu fan could not stop eating the almond tiramisu. So as a reward he was presented with a piece of Belgian chocolate mousse cake to die for. Cant wait to return. Of course the byob is also a nice perk.
The food was excellent as was the service. Added bonus was it's a BYOB place. It was a first time visit for us but we definitely plan to make it back.
