As an occasional customer at Butcher Bar, I am always pleased!! However, their restaurant week menu is IMPECCABLE. I particularly enjoyed the Butcher Salad as well as the Braised short rib!!! Succulent, fell right off the bone! The vanilla panna cotta a great dessert to end the evening with! Unexpectedly economical.. plan coming on Friday again:-)
Joey was excellent in running around and serving large number of tables with hardly any help. Five plus stars to Joey.
We went at 2 pm New Year day. Husband was looking for a steak. They were serving brunch but they were able to prepare a delicious steak for him done exactly as he wanted. Biscuits were also out of this world! Definitely will visit again when in the city. Well done !
The octopus was seasoned well but a tad bit overcooked. Unfortunately the mashed sweet potatoes were bland. Our server was great and the drinks were great as well too.
The place seems like a nice place, the wait staff can be very helpful and nice, but thats where the good ends, the food for how much it's worth is not meeting those standards. The meatballs and linguine had barely any seasoning and tasted as if it was only cooked in tomato water. The meatballs were both under-done on the inside and chared on the outside. The pretzel bites were literally drenched in butter which also got everywhere which isn't a great look. The monarch cocktail tasted good at least... Overall if you really like meat maybe, otherwise I'd keep looking elsewhere

I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Butcher Bar, but the experience fell far below expectations. The food did not meet an enjoyable standard at all. The chicken we ordered was not cooked properly, and the ribs were completely burnt. On top of that, every soda we received was flat. Our server did mention an issue with the dispenser, but the drinks were still placed on our bill until we pointed it out. Both the ribs and the chicken were sent back and left untouched, yet we were still charged for the ribs despite not eating them. The only items that were somewhat enjoyable were the skirt steak and the margarita. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish, and I will not be returning.
Round 1 (read the second part)
They sat us next to the bathroom for starters and yes there were other seats available. The interior is very small. Now to the food, the wings had absolutely NO flavor to them. I ordered the lamb and that was undercooked and not so tasty. At this point, I was afraid to even touch the asparagus I ordered. My date had the meatballs and Mac and cheese. I suppose the only edible thing was the Mac and cheese. Plainly put I make the most outta bad situations but I couldn’t turn the corner in this place sorry… DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! P.S. I ended up having to order Chinese food later on that evening cause I couldn’t even finish the leftovers.
ROUND 2….. 11/22/2025
I went back! After the first go around. I was invited back by Michael, the GM of the restaurant. Good man btw. This time around The Butcher Bar definitely redeemed itself. Had the fried cauliflower with Brussels sprouts, amazing! For my entrée in went with the steak and the fries. My date had the burger. Definitely safer choices than my last meal and who knows over time I might work my way back up to lamb again. As it turns out the place is a lot bigger than I thought but they are busy so always set reservations… other than that I loved my experience and sure am glad I came back. Definitely a delicious redeemer here….

My wife and I celebrated my birthday here recently and we will definitely be coming back! The food was delicious, we got the candied pork belly was great. We both ordered strip steaks, medium, and they came out perfectly cooked and flavorful. The sides were all fantastic especially the mac and cheese. Shout-out to our server Helen who was friendly and attentive and made my birthday a little extra special which was very thoughtful of them. It's a cool space in a great location and there's even a parking lot right next to it. Highly recommended!

I loved the atmosphere and service during our meal. The food was okay, but fell short sadly. While the steak was tender, it sadly lacked flavor. Potatoes also were very bland. I had such high hopes based on other reviews but I was kind of let down.

We came here for the first time last night. Made a reservation and noted we have a guest in a wheelchair. Received a personal email from the manager explaining stairs placement and amount and alternatives to where we could sit. Thought that was super nice of him to take that time. Food was great. Place is really cool.

I was there for a whiskey bourbon event. It was amazing. The food trough was amazing.Cocktails were awesome parking right next to the restaurant.Excellent
I saw this restaurant posted on social media and decided to give it a try. The trough is a great idea but the execution was poor. In my mind I wondered how would they get all of that meat cooked and served and it still be hot. That would require an extremely well run, organized kitchen. The meat lacked flavor all around. The smoked sausage, steak and pork belly was good. The ribs and wings tasted boiled, no smoky flavor (which you are hit with as soon as you enter the restaurant). The fried chicken was undercooked. The best tasting thing was the fries and they weren't hot. Our waiter didn't point out what the meats and sauces were. The cornbread is precooked and they rearm it in the oven. The first one was cold in the middle and the second not much better. While the you get a lot of food for the price, it's lacking in flavor. Not worth the hour drive and the fee to pay parking.
Great service, food and drinks. They do have parking next to the restaurant (not the restaurant's) for a fee.

Both food and drinks were very good. The speciality fall drink, pumpkin martini, was one of the best I ever had!
Amazing waitress who gave great recommendations on drinks and the menu. The wings were fantastic as was the cornbread and veg appetizer. Other entrees were meh and the prices were sort of outrageous for bar food.
