If you are looking for a dive bar with decent food, this is your place. The wings are very good, chicken quesadilla, not so much.

Small town vibe right by the river. Treat you like family. Good food, good conversation, and they have Heineken 0.0 which is a huge plus for me personally. Any 1 star review is just bitter. Ask for Maureen she's the bomb.

Honestly the wait staff leaves a LOT to be desired. Probably will just not return for the fact of rude waitresses.

Byrne's Tavern, above all else, is the coziest and most welcoming bar/restaurant I know. Their delicious wings, crabs, sandwiches, and pizzas are all prepared with love, and their front of house is so unapologetically Philly—from the staff to the decor. I feel right at home!
Byrne's makes the best wings in Philadelphia. They fall right off the bone, and they come drenched in the most perfectly balanced, tangy and spicy house-made buffalo sauce. It's the only sauce option they have, so you KNOW it's good.
They have a sizable menu, but I haven't tried a lot of their food yet because every time I'm there, I can't help but just eat an ungodly amount of wings. If you're planning on visiting this place, do yourself a favor and try the wings!

This is an amazing place to eat crabs, wings and logs! If you can pull yourself away from these items, the roast beef sandwich is next level.

Hours posted say close at 9PM on Sunday. Show up at 8:10 to place a takeout order and grab a drink at the bar. Already last call and no food orders. Spent thousands of dollars here over the years. Never again. Better food and less attitude from the waitstaff at other local places.
