Usually I love this place and would give 5 stars. The bartenders usually are the best in the Manayunk/Roxborough area. Alyssa was not very attentive and was much more interested in talking to her friend than serving the bar. It was pretty empty too, so it really did not make sense for the subpar service
If you’re looking for a great bar, friendly staff, amazing drinks, and even better food.. then look no further! If you’re new to the Manayunk/Roxborough area, have lived here your whole life, or are just passing through the city you will not regret stepping foot in to CJ & Eck’s. Try one of the amazing food specials the chef prepares, ask for a Tootsie Bomb, and enjoy an ice cold draft beer! The staff is always welcoming, and the regulars will make it feel like home!
Got Buffalo chicken fingers with a side of fries and it is 10/10. Super affordable AND delicious. Lived down the street for a few years now and can’t believe I haven’t picked up more!
