Sure, you can go a lot of places in Philly and get a good sandwich. A few places have great sandwiches. But if you want your tastebuds rocked by a sandwich made with care in a place with a vibe that just makes you feel good, go to Cafe Colour. The fact that the Bahn Mi is the only sandwich/food on the menu means it is done right with a perfect ingredient ratio resulting in the exact right amount of flavor. Phenomenal— banh mi was perfection, crunchy fresh bread, good meat variety, yummy pickled carrots and good jalepenos. I got the purple butterfly pea tea as well which was so refreshing and had tea ice cubes so it didn’t water down as it melted. Took it to go and ate it at home, but super cute space as well. Banh mi + tea was $14 total so great deal.
