I've been going here for years. Food was usually good. Service was always great. Today, not so. The waitress ignored out table from the moment we walked in. After 10 minutes I had to get up and ask her to wait on the table. She finally came over to wait on us. Took the orders. Then we had a 30 minute wait for our food. During this time I noticed that the folks who had come in after us got served. Our waitress did not bother to come to the table during this 30 minute wait. Eventually I complained to the host who basically trifled with me. Neither he nor the waitress was apologetic for the wait. They also added at 20% tip to the bill without any consideration. Everyone in our party of 6 was annoyed. I saw that other people in the restaurant has received the same lack of service: the food was served and the waitresses chatted between themselves without ever looking at the patrons again, let alone going to service the table again.

We waited outside for a good 20 minutes. Once in the service was nice. We were sat upstairs with a nice city view. I got a latte and the Two eggs meal. My partner got chicken salad wraps. All were good. I do miss the old place on 13th.

Talk about indie coffee house vibes ! Fell in love with it as I was walking by looking for a latte ended up ordering a whole meal! Love the options and prices let’s be honest! I recommend the avocado toast never had that with chilli crisps until I met Cafe Lift, how tasty! Also the Leomn Ricotta Pancake is decadent without overwhelming portion! Left full and belly happy highly recommend if you’re in the area or looking to switch up your cafe.

Kudos to the chef! Everything was simply delicious! The grapefruit mimosa was refreshing, and the crepe was a perfect blend of savory and sweet! The potatoes had a perfect amount of crisp and moisture! We will definitely be back! I also enjoyed the crab bisque.
Was there for pagan pride day 2025. Lots of good people and interesting vendor stands.

I had a disappointing experience at this café. I ordered a drink that was 90% ice, which made it feel unbalanced and unenjoyable. When I pointed this out to the server and showed her the drink, she acknowledged the issue and promised to replace it. However, despite finishing my meal, the replacement drink never arrived. Additionally, the sandwich I ordered contained an olive pit, which was unpleasant. Overall, the service and food quality fell far short of expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

They moved since the last time I was there and to me the food isn't as good. The cannolli French toast was lacking chocolate chips and pistachios. Preciously, it didn't have bananas on it which I feel takes away from the cannolli flavor. Once we got our food we didn't see the waitress and had to flag her down to get more drinks. Additionally, my chair was touching the customer behind me bc they have them too close together in the main room.

Always delicious. The Veggie Eggs Benedict made with fresh corn, haricots verts, and cherry tomatoes was cooked to perfection. The waiter was friendly and attentive. I can only give it a 3-star for atmosphere. It's not the place for easy conversation. Very loud, but we have only been at the busiest of time. This will not deter us from coming again.
