My sweetheart and I went here on our second date. The original plan was to meet at Dead King Bread in Manyunk, and then hike in the Wissahickon. Dead King was closed, however, and my sweetheart quickly suggested Roma Cafe as an alternative. I'm ashamed to say that I never knew about this bakery. When I think of Italian bakeries, I typically think of South Philly. This is the real deal. An interior that harkens back to earlier times, and probably owners that harken back...
Great neighborhood bakery with delicious donuts. They were very kind to my young daughter who shook up her freshly glazed donut in the container. They offered to re-glaze the donut for her so she had enough chocolate to enjoy! Wonderful spot with extremely friendly owners!
Absolutely incredible. Everything is made in house, everything is fresh. Ive been to a few dozen donut spots in Philly and these are some of the best, simplest donuts I've had. Just come with Cash, it's a cash only business.
