I have been going to this place for decades. I have noticed this place is going downhill. Some of the food are still good but this place is so run down and terrible service. In the summer time, i saw flies all over their uncovered food laid outside the kitchen near the bathrooms. The woman at the register was rude and the waiter was useless (can't even take the right orders). I don't think i would go back again.

Great little mom and pop shop for Vietnamese food. They have a wide variety on their menu, very authentic.Their banh mi’s are good, just ask for extra everything because they do skimp

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Outstanding menu, prodigious variety. Quick, attentive wait staff. Easily recommended to anyone. The Pho was amazing. Easy on the budget. Guarantee if you go, you will go back.

Typical cafe casual Vietnamese spot. Solid 4 stars foods for southern dishes (bánh cuốn southern style was yummy, bánh mì special was great, etc). I made a mistake ordering a northern dish (Bun cha Hanoi) and totally regretted it since it was like someone who has never tasted the authentic dish tried their best to recreate it.Highly recommend if you come here for southern dishes, but no no on northern dishes.I ended up buying a bunch of other Knick knacks to bring home like cha lua, bánh bao and they all tasted great.

A Cambodian friend of mine recommended me that place, I got their Vietnamese hoagie, it was cold like it’s been sitting there for hours, also asked for no pickles and no peppers, they didn’t even pay no mind to my request since there was pickles and peppers regardless, go spend your money somewhere else ! VERY honest review

TLDR: AVOID this restaurant and their French male chef like the Black Death. I don’t usually post bad reviews but here we go. On Aug 3rd our friends dined at the restaurant. Having had actual authentic Viet food around world they said the food was unsurprisingly tasteless. Nonetheless, my girlfriend and I came to say hi to them as they were about to leave. Upon entering the restaurant, we waved Hi at the French person at the kitchen/bar who I presume to be the chef and pointed to the bathroom. My girlfriend was on her period but our lunch restaurant’s washroom had a long line. After my girlfriend went into the washroom, to my absolute horror, he started pounding, of all things, his ladles at the washroom wall like a rabid dog, yelling at 150db “I AM ASKING YOU DID YOU F**KING EAT HERE OR NOT??” which I replied calmly “no but our friends just did”. He continued his rant “I DON’T F**KING CARE I AM ASKING YOU DID YOU F**KING EAT HERE OR NOT YOU COME TO MY RESTAURANT YOU NEED TO COME TO SAY HELLO HOW ARE YOU THIS IS F**KING RIDICULOUS…..” while he kept making loud noises with his cookware. This is absolutely not the way to treat anyone. And this would NEVER had happened if we were white(we’re Asians). He was visibly scaring his Asian coworker as well. If you see this person, kindly remind him he has issues and need to consult a doctor.

I go there for the wonton noodles and the coffee. They also have hu tieu xa te which is amazing. Haven't ever found that anywhere else. The banh mi are also great and frequently sell out by early afternoon.
