I was told El Vez in center city was the best place for mexican food in Philly. That was a lie. Cafe Ynez blows out the competition.I am so glad I made my dinner reservations here. The food was authentic, piping hot, and delicious. The guacamole was ridiculous. Can't wait to go back.

Ordered a chicken tinga burrito. It was mostly lettuce and less chicken/other fillings than I expected. It was also so soaked that it could not be held. By the end it was soupy.... expected better for a 17 dollar

At this place I checked it out on my lunch break, I ordered an appetizer of beef nachos and they charged me as it was a whole meal. Expensive for no reason they need to bring their prices down also they take too much of gratuity so I guess that's your tip.

I am visiting with my son & his wife while getting immunotherapy infusion treatments at Penn Medicine … they always treat me to incredibly delicious food from local restaurants … I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Refried Beans, Rice & Guacamole … it was the first time I had Enchiladas and I loved these … so beautiful flavor … the food was delivered warm too which makes a huge difference … if you’re in the area I would recommend Cafe Ynez … try them and have smiling tastebuds …
