I always pass by here on my way to work and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! The roasted beef sandwich was seasoned to perfection and is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had since moving to Philly.

I saw this place on Instagram 1st time trying was disappointed.
The meat was salty and dry. Too much salt on fries. Not impressed at all.

One of the best sandwichs I’ve had in Philly, the quality and the taste was amazing. Huge thank you to the owner who was super helpful and patient with my large order but the guys absolutley nailed everything and everyone of us who ordered enjoyed our meal. Thank you and will definitely be back.

Sandwich is good, but wish there was a dining room or even just basic seating. As it stands it's essentially window service, which is kind of a waste for a huge place on south broad. Hours of operation are also incredibly inconsistent.

Atmosphere... LOL... I'm glad there was a faded whiteboard that vaguely spelled out "Roast Beef Sandwich" or I would not have waited for the proprietor to come out from the back. Glad I waited. It's like Nick's Old Original with a better (Sarcone's) roll. I wish I'd ordered two (even though it was perfectly filling.) Rosario too pity on us and didn't make us go outside in the cold to dine.. But you may not be so lucky. Prepare to get delivery or takeout. You won't regret it.

Every time I suggest this place, I am met with "Why don't we get Nick's?" Why? This place has a better roll & sharper provolone. The beef is more flavorful & sliced beautifully. Good crinkle cut fries. Down sides? They don't offer gravy fries, and they close before 7 PM.
