I got 2 fun-fetti cupcakes and a brownie. Both were disappointing and overpriced. I like a moist, plush cupcake. This one was basic, flat, dry, and had a crumb that barely held together when you took a bite. The brownie was also dry, burnt around the edges, and lacking in chocolate flavor. Not the kinda vibe you want for $16

I just went over to pick up Valentines heart cakes and some sugar cookies and I was super disappointed. The letters fell right off of the Eagles cookies as soon as they were boxed up. I no sooner got from the bakery to my car and the letters were all coming off the cookies. I was super excited about the heart cakes, a bakery had screwed me over and didn’t make an order I placed so I came here for V-Day cakes. The cakes were so cute but as soon as I tasted it, the icing is beyond lardy and not sweet. It just tasted like they blobbed a ton of lard on top, the cake inside was good but there was barely any cake for the amount of icing on it. Mind you, they charge $6 per cookie and the cakes alone were $60+ for only a 6 inch cake. It’s a cute place with curb appeal but definitely not as good as it looks.

love their pastries and that they’re a bakery that stays open late (kinda uncommon here). I love their mini caramelized banana tarts but I they rotated them out for now with a key lime pie (sold out this time). Their dulce de leche cheesecake was amazing though

Recently ordered a cake for a special occasion. The 6" cake looked nice for $80+. Unfortunately was not over impressed with the cake quality given the shop's reputation. Will probably pass on this shop moving forward and try a different bakery.

I stumbled across Cake Life by accident with my best friend after grabbing lunch nearby, and I instantly fell in love. Then I found out they made Beyoncé’s birthday cake, and I was done—how could you not love this place?!

On my first visit, I had the Nanaimo bar, the honey butter biscuit with a side of butter, and the butterbeer drink. Everything was so yummy! I love Nanaimo bars but can never find them, so I was thrilled—and this one was exceptional. The honey butter biscuit was warm, flaky, and perfect with the butter, and the butterbeer drink? Sweet, creamy, and magical.

By my second visit, I was completely hooked. I tried the strawberry n’ cream poppin tart (ridiculously delicious), the hot chocolate with the fluffiest, hugest homemade marshmallow, and the everything bagel croissant—which is now my absolute favorite. The croissant was the perfect bite: garlicky, with just the right amount of salt, rich and buttery, and topped with the creamiest, most heavenly drop of scallion cream cheese. Every layer was perfection.

The shop itself is super charming and cozy, with free WiFi and the nicest baristas. It’s the perfect little spot to treat yourself or just relax for a while.

I absolutely love visiting here and trying something new every time. Everything they make is a hit, and I’m already planning my next trip. Beyoncé and I clearly have great taste!

Delicious red velvet cupcake!

Delicious handcrafted pastries of very high quality. I've been coming here for the past two years. Also, their everything croissant with a large dollop of scallion cream cheese on top of is incredible.

After witnessing people playing with their hair and touching their faces without wearing gloves, I must say, I’m giving it a hard pass. Additionally, the attention to detail seems to be lacking.

I have to be honest and say that we originally looked into Cake Life because they’ve made cakes for Beyoncé. We were pleasantly surprised to see that their prices were reasonable! Bailey was so great to correspond with. She was open to hearing our ideas and had gluten free and vegan options. They also delivered our order directly to the venue so we didn’t have to worry about picking it up and transporting it. We’re still getting compliments on the cupcakes, they were a hit! We’re so happy that we chose Cake Life for our wedding and look forward to trying new flavors next time we visit!
