Ordered one beer, took 15 min to get the beer after I ordered it, the beer was a corona in a can. Also ordered a seltzer water for my girlfriend who was sober driving. Manager, who was working behind the bar, charges us 5 dollars for a seltzer water. Seltzer water was not anything special, it came out of the gun that the sodas come out. A itemized receipt was not provided when the check came, just the total with the card charged. When I asked to see the receipt, the manager got super defensive. When I then asked to why a seltzer water cost 5 bucks, she responded “welcome to the club life”. This is not a club, it’s a very basic bar.I would not recommend this bar to anyone.Shout out to the one bar tender with the tattoos, super cool guy.
There are so many reasons why this bar was not great. For starters I stood at the bar for 10 minutes while waiting for a bartender to notice me. It was 630 on a Saturday, not a very busy time. The drinks were definitely well poured, but watching one of the bartenders talk to one pair of customers the entire time I waited while the other bartender casually strolled around not serving any customers ruined it. When I finally asked for the tab, the bartender returned from charging my card and flung the receipt folder at me, which caused my card to fly out of the folder and land in some of the whiskey sour the bartender spilled when he initially served me my drink. I guess if you're forced to wait for the Fillmore to open for your event it's not the worst bar in the world, but there are better options. Like drinking from a puddle of rainwater.
Karim was an excellent server who went well above and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed our trip to Philly!!

The bartenders are fun. The drinks are expensive during shows. Cheaper after 10 o'clock.
Just ok
