Everything was great, the food the drinks the atmosphere. It was me and my Sister first time at Punch Line Philly. All the comedians were great especially TURAE. Our first time attending one of his shows.

The service is decent and the space itself does the job. No complaints regarding the lighting and sound. However, they really should inform patrons there's an automatic 18% gratuity charge to each bill--especially because of the lack of lighting during shows and the fact that it's not prominently shown on the bill.I can't speak on the food because I only got two Liquid Deaths ($5 each!) since they have a 2-item minimum. This felt very wasteful to me because I wasn't in the hydrating or eating mood, but I chugged them nonetheless. Their prices are kinda ridiculous for what you get. Another example: my friend got a mixed drink for $14 and it was small and not strong at all.

Little sketchy area of course being where it's at but there's plenty of bars near by which we decided on Murph's Bar and then the brewery next door. The brewery next door has lots of beers to choose from with outside seating as well in grass. Very nice chill area to wait for the show to open. The inside venue is pretty big with great audio. Plenty of tables to sit at and everyone is very nice.Nachos were packed with cheese and the guac was pretty good as well. Plenty of chips and toppings to go between my girlfriend and I.

Boyfriend and I went here for a fun comedy night. We had a lovely evening of laughs. Note that this place does a two drink minimum and the drink prices can easily exceed the cost of your ticket. I stuck with Diet Pepsis.

Very is easy to get to and doesn't really have a bad seat in the house. Not sure why all the hate about the two drink minimum. The beers are 19.2 ounces for $14. Mixed drinks aren't crazy expensive either. Service was quick and getting seated was fast. Staff were friendly. Would go back again.

The venue overall is OK. The process to check in and be seated was quick and easy and everyone that we encountered was professional and pleasant and I enjoyed the show. The food however was just OK - I ordered cheesesteak egg rolls and fries and my hubby ordered a fried chicken sandwich. The cheesesteak egg rolls were doughy and had very little meat and flavor and the fries were cooked so hard that they had the texture of potato chips. I didn't expect an exquisite meal but the food was totally lackluster for me. Hubby and I ordered the same drink, which was Strawberry Lemonade Ginger - I didn't feel like alcohol so I asked for it to be made as a mock-tail; it tasted like Kool Aid... I was disappointed with the dining experience. The opening and main acts were funny and the sound was clear; seating was good too - we paid for General Admission... What I did not like were the interruptions from the crowd on this night; a few patrons were insistent on getting the comedian's attention - it was very annoying. If i see another comedian that I'd like to check out on the schedule I'll definitely return but will be sure to eat well before I come here and order a drink that does not require mixing :-/

I haven't been to a show but a drink was $15...kinda makes it rough to go back when there are better deals in Philly.

The show I saw here was great, but my review is for how insanely overpriced the drinks and food are. There's a 2 drink minimum, and my friend and I ordered regular cocktails with well liquor and a water -- for that the cost was $102! In this economy?? Get f****** real

An evening of comedy! After such a long time of pandemic life It was nice to get out and see a comedy show. And tonight had oodles of performers. ( ‿ )Sonia Z, Tan Hoang, Charles Steele, James Moss, Lump, Ellen Doyle and Pat George.Everyone had on their comedy game! Awesome! Such a delightful time with the performances. (////)I recommend that you get your to drink requirement in the very beginning, because in my case, our table didn't see our waitress again until she brought over the bill. (////) at the table I was sitting at... There was either a chip from the ceiling or something, but we were being dripped on the entire night. I covered up my drink with a napkin, so that whatever is dripping in there if it was from the ceiling wouldn't get in my drink, but it was annoying and I don't know if it was just at this particular table or what. It takes you away from being funny engaged in the show. Because the comedy was so enjoyable, I would return & I would definitely NOT sit at the same table.Good comedy night!!

I've been here about three times in my life and I love it every time. Going to this club is a whole experience because they have much more than just comedy. They have an outdoor seating area, corn, hole, and a bar. Seats are first come first serve so if you want the best seats at the front of the stage then get in line early. FYI, like most comedy clubs, they have a two drink minimum. And the drinks you buy at the bar outside of the performance area do not count! You have to order your drinks at the table for them to count. 2 drinks per person. It's a small stage with a huge area for customers, unfortunately, you would end up with some a very bad seats if you showed up late and there was a big crowd that day. In groups of two, you can definitely get seated early at the front of the stage.

Boyfriend was immediately profiled by the bouncer and told he was "F'd up" when we wasn't. We went to see Kurt Metzger's late show and ordered our first round of drinks for the 2 drink minimum. When we tried to get our second round, all of us were served except my boyfriend. My question is why serve him in the first place if you thought he was already too intoxicated? Tried to speak to a manager (or anyone besides the bouncer or waitress) and were given a business card to contact. Lol. The 18% added gratuity was icing on the cake. There are awesome comedy venues in Philly- this is not one of them.

Went on a Thursday night to see a live show by one of my favorite podcasts. I bought the tickets directly through said podcast's website, for a high price that I considered worth it to see my favorite group. The stage and environment at the venue was nice, but the more-overpriced-than-usual for a comedy club drinks I had to buy to satisfy the two drink minimum, the food that was in minuscule portions for the price, along with another fee that was sneakily slipped onto my receipt ended up costing me more than the tickets did. The chairs were uncomfortable and the staff was pretty pushy with trying to get me to order more drinks even after I told them I was the designated driver and had already satisfied my drink minimum. I would definitely try to find somewhere else to see my favorite comedians that isn't going to gouge you after you already paid for the tickets months in advance and pressure you into getting too drunk to drive.

Ordered one beer, took 15 min to get the beer after I ordered it, the beer was a corona in a can. Also ordered a seltzer water for my girlfriend who was sober driving. Manager, who was working behind the bar, charges us 5 dollars for a seltzer water. Seltzer water was not anything special, it came out of the gun that the sodas come out. A itemized receipt was not provided when the check came, just the total with the card charged. When I asked to see the receipt, the manager got super defensive. When I then asked to why a seltzer water cost 5 bucks, she responded “welcome to the club life”. This is not a club, it’s a very basic bar.I would not recommend this bar to anyone.Shout out to the one bar tender with the tattoos, super cool guy.
