This is local place with urban flare. The kitchen is closed so there is no food being served at the time of this post. The bartenders are prompt, genuine, and entrenched in the patronage. There is billiards, English darts, gambling machines, and the music is unique as it based on the current crowd and requests are taken and almost always honored. There is also garage door style windows that open to the street and turn the place into an enclosed patio style outdoor bar when the weather is permitting. This place as my new go-to in the Northeast.
Parking: Do not park in the bank parking lot across the street as there have been many vehicles barnacled over there
Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is wheelchair accessible but the backdoor is not backdoor and bathrooms are not.

Since the owner who has been trying to sell this bar for 9 months+, I don't think you're going to be gone that fast. They have the energy to write me back on google reviews they don't have the energy to go cleanup their sidewalk which has a mattress out there today and the whole block is filled with their beer bottles. Customers trash PNC bank parking lot, its like they're not scared of serving alcohol, but when someone is drunk, staff is either too lazy or scared to confront over served patrons. TRASH OWNER / TRASH STAFF AND TRASH ENVIRONMENT!!!

Cappy's is a good local seafood bar. The atmosphere is pretty. Chill and laid back. The crowd is usually middle aged to older. 30+ the food I ordered was good on both occasions. Drinks are made like they should be.
Cons: the kitchen closes rather early. 9pm or 10pm; Compared to when the establishment itself closes at 2am. All in all if you're looking for a nice quiet comfortable environment to watch the game and get a bite to eat. I recommend Cappy's

I have been going to cappys for years now and it’s always a pleasure. Great people, greaaaaat food which you can get very late (u don’t find that anywhere else) bartenders are very alert, and ready to help you have a good time! Tamarah is a gem & is always right there the second you need anyone. A neighborhood staple in my opinion!

the bartender Tamara was just amazing she was friendly, knowledgeable , and most of all knew how to make a drink....I've only been in here a few times but i will gladly be returning.the prior visit i had a male bartender Andy who blew me away as well with recommendations and made it more of an experience less of a drunken night on the rocks .the food here is delicious and after speaking to the staff found out the kitchen is ran by a neighborhood favorite food truck (Good Eats/Good Karma )

This place is a disgrace, my niece got jumped there last week and I believe the employees (at least one) were involved. This lead to my niece and her boyfriend fleeing the area and getting into a car accident which took my niece's life.This place was opened after hours and serving minors as well, they should be held accountable for their actions. I hope justice is served.

I’ve been living next Cappys bar for a while now and if you go your either going to smell the dumpster or the trash that’s constantly left outside instantly because the street is filled with trash for months, (I’ve been told years, trash left out by them and their customers and the marble business next door, and the back doors of all the apartments of Frankford ave trash piles all over 4100 Longshore ave )Call them multiples times to solve issue, called 311 and surrounding businesses and apartments. Oh Make sure you bring your boxing gloves there’s a fight every weekend.
