Ordered off the happy hour menu only to be told AFTER our check came that happy hour is at the bar only. This rule was not made clear by our server, on the menu, website, or anywhere. Never heard that rule before. Also was made to feel like we weren’t ordering enough food when each member of my party ordered appetizers and most ordered drinks? Like sorry it’s 4:30 and we’re not ready for dinner yet?

Forgettable at best. Tired decor and under-seasoned food. Busser was attentive but server had a weird attitude about him. Wouldn’t go back even if you paid me

Easy service without pretension, exactly what a French bistro style place should be.

This place was unsuspectingly amazing, surpassing the quality of many of the other flashy nearby establishments. I would come back again and would easily recommend.

I enjoyed the French like atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. The croque monsieur with no ham was delicious and the frites too. I’ll definitely be back here.

Good entrees overall, but severely slow and understaffed. Deserts were clearly lower quality, with pastry served partially raw

Stopped in for lunch at this French style cafe. Nice atmosphere and excellent service. I ordered a salad and the beef bourguignon with a glass of Cabernet. The salad was excellent. The beef bourguignon was tasty but the serving size was very small.

Went here for restaurant week. Service was excellent and friendly. First time ordering escargot and I enjoyed it! I thought the portions were pretty good for restaurant week, though I was disappointed by the chicken pot pie as it was over salted and beef entree was under seasoned.

We came for restaurant week and ordered the 3 course meals for $40 each. Was our first time trying escargot and it was enjoyable. Butternut squash bisque was excellent and very flavorful. Entree portions were small but to be expected during restaurant week. The beef bourguignon was cooked well but felt bland. Chicken pot pie entree was on the saltier side and the puff pastry didn't have much flavor. The lemon tart used the same puff pastry and was okay. Creme brulee was also just okay. Service was good and the staff was very kind.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurant. I live out of state and would anticipate making the trip here each year. But my last visit in August was so disappointing. I was served stale, rock-hard bread. I asked for a glass of cabernet and the server told me they were out of it. And my favorite dessert in the word — bread pudding — was taken off the menu. It’s really gone downhill. The steak was very overcooked as well.

underwhelming all around. entrees are super small portions. and it doesn’t compare to other great french spots in the city. but it’s definitely a good place to grab a french onion soup app before going somewhere else
