It's much better than I expected. The prices aren't through the roof like some of the other bakeries around, and the cheese cake cups and conoli's were top-notch.

Little overprice (not the coffee). There’s no sugar sachets at the table or any where at disposal (it’s a coffee shop). The only chance is while they’re preparing it. I’d prefer to add the quantity by my own later? The service works like making you a favor. If you ask for something they try very hard not to understand what you’re saying. A group of older people had to ask very loud coming into the store just to get their attention and the staff yelled back from their seats! The group left the store. So objectively it wasn’t just me. I really tried my best being very polite so I have enough arguments for not coming back (Sunday 8).

Very empty when visiting on a Friday evening. Canoli was good but overpriced and pretty small. The eclair was pretty stale tasting, I'm not sure if that's how it always is or if this was a fluke. For over 12 dollars for those 2 items though I don't think I'll be going back. Prices are not listed that I noticed so you're really not sure what you're getting yourself into.

Got a rainbow cake for my daughters 13th birthday. It seemed like it was previously frozen, and tasted horrible. Nobody ate it, and I ended up throwing it away

The cheesecake was very gritty. I really wanted to try your products when we was on vacation so we stop. Not impressed.

One of my favorite bakeries, originating from Hoboken! I wasn’t sure if the experience at other locations would live up to the hype and the Philly store definitely did not disappoint! I was SO, so happy to finally have a lobster tail again! The cream was the right consistency and perfectly chilled, while the the pastry was flaky and butter. You know you’re having a true Carlo’s bakery lobster tail when you bite into it and hear that satisfying *crispy crunch* sound! Ahhh ?I also tried the chocolate mousse and cannoli cheesecake. Both were delicious! The only thing missing was Buddy himself. One day, I will cross paths with Buddy Valastro at one of his bakeries… one day ?

Confetti cake tastes old and spoiled. Doesn’t smell good either. Very disappointed.

I have watched Cake Boss for several years. My family is Italian and immigrants from Sicily. There is an Italian bakery in Brooklyn that puts Carlos bakery to shame. I thought the experience would be like the tv show and it was very opposite. No customers, no selection of pastries or cakes, and no family working that is shown in the show. I visited with high hopes coming all the way from Colorado and my dream was crushed.

Always wanted to try a Carlo's bakery cannoli amongst a few other bakery selections. Went there for the first time yesterday and bought 2 cannolis and a fruit tart. The cannolis were the worst I ever had! They tasted old soft and outdated and I Instantly threw them in the trash! And the fruit tart looked good but tasted just as old and even had a glue like film over the custard! They should be ashamed selling that garbage especially with high prices! I can just imagine everything else probably tastes just as old! They making buddy look bad out here!

The manager Kate has been extremely helpful creating the customized big birthday cake - half ocean and half golf course- for my husband which was a complete success and super delicious, moist and tasty! All her advice was great and the price very reasonable compared to some other customized birthday cakes. Thank you so much!

We were in town for the NEQ volleyballTourney in Philly. My sister had bought me a peanut butter cookie in Vegas and the girl at TSA stole my cookie out my purse when we went through security screening. I was so mad and didn’t realize it til at our gate since it was hectic getting to airport. I saw Carlos Bakery in Philly and walked 20 min to get cookies and got 6 for the discount. The peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies are out of this world. Super soft and great. Worth the walk and Praise God I was patient and got to try them.

Horrible service, rude employees! Desserts had an old taste. Was not what I was expecting at all! I thought I was going to be impressed since I love Cake Boss. Big disappointment!!! It should have been a better experience since it was our first time. Very very disappointed ! It’s all about name that’s all

Great selection of cookies, cakes, tarts, cannoli and so on. Friendly staff, quick service. Coffee is also pretty good. I go here when I need something for a special occasion.

2 of the best pastries I ever had.

I popped in for an impulse cannoli. The bakery was basically empty on a Wednesday morning around 10 or so. The cannoli was yummy (crispy shell) but underfilled and overpriced (with tip, was $7 for one). I’d come back again if there isn’t a line
