Small but functional venue with a decent selection of beers. The real standout here is the pizza though, which was phenomenal. The pairing of the pizza and beer works perfectly and explains why the place was packed on a bitterly cold Wednesday night. Despite the large crowd, service was quick and friendly. Will be a must visit for me the next time I'm in Philly.
The beer was good but the cyder was just ok and more like a fizzy apple juice. Pizza is really a flatbread and had garlic in the sauce. There were no plates to eat the pizza which surprised me as it's not a food truck.
A spur of the moment, let’s get pizza and a beer and this was a quick walk near 9th street. The Eagles football game was on and of course, a lively, fun crowd with people eating pizza and drinking beer. We opted for a light beer and a sausage pizza. Both were very good and yes, the pizza has a thin, crisp crust. The decor is interesting, tables of all sizes some actually made out of doors…so interesting and fun. Staff friendly and accommodating.
