The food smelt good soon as I walked in I could smell the jasmine rice. That food was right. I can’t get over the Jasmine rice that was perfect rice, curry chicken was just as good but dam that rice was on point.

I had the brown stew chicken and it was So flavorful with a nice kick to it. I will definitely go back and try their other things on the menu. I wasn’t too crazy about the cabbage but stew chicken and gravy was the WINNER.

My experience was delightful. It’s always love when I come through and the food is prepared fast and neat and hot. My favorite go to is the oxtails but they also have a lunch special from 12 to 3 PM. Definitely highly recommended.

This is not a review this is a warning if you get a large oxtail you only get six pieces of oxtail no gravy on the rice and the vegetables are not boiled properly now what really got me was after I made the purchase they asked me did I want to warm it up in a microwave and then I asked for candy yams and that was an extra $5 the large platter was already $23 with six pieces of oxtail and enough rice to feed seven families so they want you to get full off of the rice and not give you a decent portion of the oxtail and minus the gravy I will never ever again get a platter from this establishment Fair exchange has never been robbery is what I grew up on

This place is horrible I ordered a stew chicken medium size when I got back to work to eat the food there was no chicken The chicken was all bones and some of the bones was substituted for potatoes it was like one small piece of chicken I would not recommend this place to a human being only to a dog because dogs like bones will never buy from this place again this is highway robbery I had to fight for the meat ??

Vegetarian options: They give you all bones and no meat ??

My experience with Champion Taste restaurant was excellent...I've been there several times nd never had not one bad moment...I've tried everything on the menu and it was all on point...great cooking...nice clean environment...customer service was great aswell...fry chicken...curry goat...damn I must emphasize on those two my favorite...finger licking?...I hope the owner of this place continue to keep up the good work and push harder to become a bigger and better boss...I see some negative reviews but I want you to ignore them and continue do good...I hope whatever you and that customer had you all can figure it out and be kool in the future

Rice was sour. The oil was old that they made the chicken in. Waste of $36. Never again!

Yall , why the owner of this place after I went there like 4 months ago , gave me his number I didn’t know he was the owner at that time . Found out he knew a ex of mine and it seemed to excite him cause he was envious of my ex ,I guess cause he has more than what he has ?so he was trying to get at me , trying to trick on me or whatever ,which of course I took his money and free food .Always asking for relations but I didn’t feel right knowing he knew my friend (X). He asked the business owner beside him who is also Jamaican about my xhusband , just trying to find all info on me ?.He was thirsty but cool and I’m like it won’t hurt to have a business minded friend … he wanted to sell his babym Gucci shoes who is the one who has the resturaunt in HER name , He was broke one time and ask me to buy him some toiletries at family dollar which I did. That alone turned me off cause like how you own a restaurant and broke as hell ?One day this man dropped me off some food and forcefully held me down and performed oral on me , I think he wanted me to know as a Jamaican he will get down for the cat?I cut him off cause what he did , thinking that would make me sleep with him …and that showed me he’s not a boss , he’s always questioning me about my BOSSMAN x and was talking real spicy on the phone to me as if I’m the one .He don’t own that restaurant. Everything is in his baby moms Name and he better be good to her or she can put him out of the house and restaurant both in her name ?I told him I was pregnant for my xhusband so he could leave me alone and to see if it would get around and it did ?? amd then he has the audacity to tell people he SLEPT with me so that’s why I’m doing this cause leave me alone sir and stop lying on my NAME.Stop trying to keep up with people with more money than you and take care of the 8 kids you have ,like your priorities are messed up .I didn’t like what you did I didn’t even get any authority involved , which I should have. Nor did I tell my x. Now you wanna make me look bad talking about you slept with me like I wanna be mixed up with a bottom of the barrel , broke man who ain’t even cute , like sirrrrrrrr. I’m not even that bad for you to be lying on my goodgood ? no sahhhBroke , dusty and put on is what makes up this man’s DNA ?Food is nasty too ??‍♀️Bones man I beg you stop lying on my front , I thank you bye

I had rice and peas and jerk chicken platter. The food is good, but when I tell you that this was the skimpiest platter I've ever gotten from a Jamaican food restaurant.I went a second time same thing happened again in which I witnessed one of the men working there telling the woman to take some of the rice off of the platter. The chicken legs are so tiny and they give you two baby legs smh. Last time going there. Very stingy and not very friendly either.
