Love this place...plus it is a dog friendly
The melange latte was fantastic. Loved that the cafe embraces the vibe of the neighborhood. The chairs were great for those under 40.
Excellent place to work. We were visiting from out of town and needed a place with WiFi close to the city area, quiet enough to work, and with wifi. They have a relatively spacious downstairs area which was excellent to stay and work from. Not too crowded when we went and not too hot, as they had a fan. Very very pleased that we found this place. Nice staff as well!
I truly enjoyed my experience at this coffee shop. Although I didn't have anything to eat my friend said they have amazing pastries. The coffee choices were fantastic, original and creative. I had an iced latte called 'Sweet Tooth', with a blend of toffee, caramel & vanilla flavors. It was absolute perfection. The atmosphere is everything you want in a coffee shop: eclectic, vibrant, artsy. . . There is free WiFi, cool house music, friendly employees and reasonable prices. I'll definitely return.
We tried the orange creamsicle Italian soda- 3/5
Chocolate croissant- 4/5
Overall not necessarily bad for food/drinks, not great either.
However, the atmosphere is not it. Looks dirty- everywhere. Not cozy at all… i came to get some work done and did not end up staying. I will not be coming back here.
And the bathroom - horrendous.
This place needs a DEEP scrubba-dub-dub.
The scones were great! Espresso (SF French Vanilla Americano) was a little bitter/burnt, couldve just needed some mixing, but not bad for a pick me up!
What an adorable little coffeehouse! It totally gives off Gryffindor common room vibes—I'm talking cozy corners and a magical atmosphere. Honestly, I’d love to see a Potter-themed menu when I walk in!
From the moment I stepped through the door, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The ambiance is everything you want in a coffee shop; I enjoyed soaking in the chatter around me. It’s also the perfect spot for studying, with plenty of tables and comfy seating. Plus, they had some nice lo-fi house music playing in the background, setting the perfect mood!
I tried the iced orange chocolate mocha and a rhubarb PB&J cookie. The mocha was tasty, but I think it would shine even more when served hot. And that cookie? Oh my goodness—it got better with each delightful bite!
Although I’m not from the area, I’d definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this charming gem to others!
i love coming in and seeing my man boris!! the specialty drinks are my favorite and i come in every time im in the area. LOVE the shape of the dine in mugs too, very very cozy

I love this spot. The barristas are great, the vibe is warm and welcoming, the food/drinks are enjoyable... it's popularity is sort of strangling it though.

Unfortunately, this is not my first bad customer service experience at Chapterhouse. My boyfriend and I stopped by to get some ice cream, and I asked if I could try the two flavors I was torn between. Without even looking up from the computer screen in front of her, the woman working told me they didn’t do samples. At first, I wasn’t sure if I understood her correctly because she was a little hard to hear, and her lack of eye contact made it even more challenging. After saying, “Excuse me,” she looked up at me and repeated herself in a similar condescending tone. We decided to leave and get ice cream somewhere else.
Although I don’t understand the big deal about letting someone taste ice cream flavors, I’m less irritated by this. On multiple occasions now, I’ve experienced an attitude from several employees. Their coffee, food, and environment are not good enough to compensate for poor customer service. There are too many coffee and ice cream spots in this neighborhood with friendlier employees.
Not only did they lose an ice cream sale today, they also lost my business moving forward.
My only concern is how dusty is that place, it has a lot of dust, and the coffee was good but I am not sure if they cleaned it.

They serve Franklin ice cream which was very delicious. I had the chocolate Dominican shake and a London fog. I would definitely come back. There's plenty of room to hangout, socialize or study.
