update: still the best cafe in Philly. best vibes around, chill place to work or hang, baristas are all delightful gems. if they add Nite Owl late hours on more days, i'll give them a big kiss.

On Thusdays they're open until 10pm!

Chapterhouse has been a favorite for years. So much space, varied sections, friendly staff. Get the hot chocolate!

What a lovely coffee shop! I initially came because of their vegan wrap options (huge, so yummy and reasonably priced) but stayed for the hospitality. The barista chats with every customer because he wants to. It just makes for such a lovely place to work or hang out. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this cafe! The barista recommended the melange latte which I enjoyed. It tasted similar to chai with cinnamon.

There are several sections within the cafe suitable for people to chat or work. It's a cute cafe to stop by if you need to wait around for some of the restaurants nearby to seat you (ex: Mawn).

I was killing time before my reservation at mawn and decided to check this place out. This place was PACKED. They have two floors which is great. Lots of people there to work/study. They have a variety of beverage options from coffee, espresso based drinks, smoothies and some food as well. They have some outdoor seating as well. I got the cardamom pistachio latte and it was delicious. Would definitely return maybe at a time it’s not super packed. On Thursday’s, they are open late to 10 PM which is awesome!

Hands down the BEST chai latte I’ve had outside of an Indian restaurant. Punchy spice level and a good size. The space itself has a cozy, cute and relaxed atmosphere.

Chapterhouse has become one of my favorite cafes in Philly! It’s perfect if you are looking for a study/work environment or just to socialize. The iced matcha with oat milk is a MUST. Overall, very good coffee and snacks. 100% recommend 🧡
