I just want to give a shoutout to Lucianna our lovely server from last night. We were a late-arriving table of 3 and she was so professional, attentive, and kind! Thru way of chatting a little, we learned it was only her 4th day as a waitress but after many years at the “front of the house” for C&P (as a fellow child myself of a restaurant owner, I know the drill!) The mussels at Chickie and Pete’s are absolutely fantastic — perfectly steamed, tender, and loaded with flavor. The garlic and white wine sauce is rich and addictive, especially when paired with their famous Crabfries. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, and the portion was generous enough to share (though you’ll want to keep them for yourself).
