Atmosphere gets 3 stars but that's because it's an old corner bar. This is the original Chickies and Pete's. Service is always good here, beer is cold and the food is tasty. We had a lobster pizza and their signature fries.

Small and cozy. Parking could be a challenge. Food is awesome. Service was 100 % on point
*** EDIT*** Stars taken away on this visit. Came for take out. Got home and order was wrong. Took everything in me to go back (had just gotten off of work)...not sure if intentional or just how it is....but the Crab cakes were literally a lump of salt. It was so much salt that I had to throw 95% of it away. It will be a looooonnnngggg time before I return to hypertension and Pete's
Food was good, as always! My first time at the Original CnP's.. had crab fries and pork belly tacos.. well executed! Service was a bit lacking as it was between shifts, but that's me being nitpicky. Will be back.

The quality of the food coming out of those kitchens after the menu overhaul has plummeted. Don't waste your money or your appetite. So sick of frozen food being passed off as fresh and house made. By far the worst crab cake sandwich I've ever had. $22 bucks for crab seasoning mush on a refrigerated roll. The namesakes of this business should be rolling in their graves.

Legendary! I have lived in NY for over 20 years, but have to go back to a place that I enjoyed for many years. I brought my son with me to experience this legend!
