China House Restaurant

This has fallen off over the years. Yesterday I went and it was so absolutely filthy that I had to cancel my order, and call the Philadelphia health department. There was unrefrigerated meat all over the store. The front door was wide open and bugs were everywhere. The Chinese lady used the same gloves on the unrefrigerated pre cooked chicken wings, that she used on the open box of flowers, who knows what kind of meat for the general tsos chicken. This restaurant needs to be shut down. It's absolutely filthy. It's NOT THE RESTAURANT WE REMEMBER. THIS PLACE IS A HEALTH HAZARD

Wings are TOO small. Just makes u never want to try diff food spots, let alone chinese stores. Enticed by the fact that they are one of the few chinese spots on earth that take cards. Pick it up.. all wings small as a pinky toe. I get it they gave me more than the 7 wings I ordered, maybe because they feel guilty all of them are compact wings. Makes me wish I didn’t go

The food was amazing, and when I got into the store it was a short wait until I got my food. Great value for your dollar would recommend for both enjoyment as well as dining on a budget!

Service is fast, staff is nice. I've had several good experiences with the food and several bad experiences. It's pretty hit or miss. Last time I tried ho fun noodles and they were a solid clump. This time I tried the triple delight chicken, beef and pork there was no pork in it instead they put two shrimps in it and I can't eat shrimp. They definitely put way too much broccoli in their dishes. It would be nice if they cut back on it. The price of the food is extremely reasonable but I have noticed that it is inconsistent.

Very very disappointed in the pork fried rice . Very bland and tasteless . Shrimp rolls were horrid. And there is a weird taste to their hot mustard packs , I don’t know if they are old or says in sun too long but nasty!

This place has went down. The boneless spare ribs are questionable and today they gave me old mustard packs. I took a photo of a mustard pack I received from a store 2 weeks ago compared to the mustard I received from China House today. There pack is on the left and the one on the right I had in my home over 2 weeks and u can see the difference. I called and told them personally they fell off and I won't be returning. Do yourself a favor don't order here.

I used to LOVE the Yat from this store! It was made well, with rich, thick sauce and was delicious. It was the only place I could get it made correctly. When I went there a few days ago, my son and I both got Yat because he's always loved tasting mine and wanted his own. It was terrible! I don't know what or why the recipe was changed to this nasty, thin soup, but please go back to the original recipe. I guess you're trying to save money or something, but don't mess up a good thing. Please.

Food is 10-10 Okayy really good service and food however the only thing that really needs attention is the containers the food come in they’re styrofoam and it makes the food sweat and get soggy ! This is new they didn’t serve food in styrofoam before please go back to the other
