Philly Chop Restaurant & Lounge

Came threw Philadelphia to pick up a load and wanted some delicious so I tried a salmon chop from here and omg that thing was BOMB!!! I GIVE THIS PLACE 10 STARS!!! I'll definitely be back to try other meals on the menu!!! Sending love all the way from North Carolina good job Philly 🙏🏾

I had the chop cheese chicken thru delivery. I can't deny its up there in the best! I'm 59 so have had many cheesesteaks. Now days I'm always disappointed, so I'm happy to have found a place that I will be ordering from. Now as for the wings.. they were burnt.. real hard.. and the meat inside was weird, chewy. Also I asked for sauce on the side and didn't get it. Didn't matter because I didn't eat the wings. BUT.. the chop cheese was so good I'll give the wings another try.

I visited this resturant and lounge for the first time 5-17-2025. Hubby and I were looking for a spot to eat and a lot of places were already closed. It would be 11pm soon. We ran into this place while walking the ave. It is a family owed business with lovely ladies serving you natural fruit drinks, fresh made food never frozen or pre made. We got a rise and shine smash burger 9.5/10. We got the chicken renders 10/10. We got the old bay cheese crinkle fries 8/10. We got passion fruit and pineapple natural fruit juices both were great 10/10. Finally the famous philly chop cheese empanadas 10/10. The food is fresh and hot and great prices for the quality too. The owner Charita was such a sweetheart and she mentioned they book for private events. When they are open they are open until late hours. I recommend them for sure. We got all of this and only spent like $50. So very affordable. Per person i would say it depends on what you order. Anywhere from $10-20 or more per person. They added new menu items too ❤️

Sooo this was my first time there after seeing them on Instagram. The customer service was A1! I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. I ordered the jerk chicken chop, cheese fries and chop cheese egg rolls. Came to about $32 or so. You can smell the jerk chicken through the bag!! Presentation is everything and when I opened the food I started to second guess myself. The roll was soggy and hard and the same time but baby the flavor is there!!! I would definitely suggest it. The cheese fries looked old and was nothing memorable. I would pass on them. My daughter had the egg rolls which were a nice size. She added some jerk chicken to it and wished she actually got the jerk egg rolls. Ultimately, I would suggest them and go back

This is a crazy underrated gem in the Northeast. Everything I had from here was delicious, especially 'the one' chopped cheese. The empanadas were also exceptional. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Plus they're a BYOB with hookah and karaoke on Fridays. What more could you want?

My son found this quaint restaurant for us to go to for lunch. We were greeted by 3 Beautiful women who gave us wonderful service. We ordered the Chop Buffalo Chicken Fries, Chopped Chicken Fries, Dat Norf Philly Chicken sandwich, Chop Salmond sandwich, Thai Chili wings and the chicken & cheese Empanada, with Limeade Lemonade juice and Passion fruit juice.

Everything was delicious!! Great flavor, food was fresh. The atmosphere was giving positive vibes, and the restaurant is clean. I enjoyed having lunch with my children here and dinner with my spouse as well. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, stop by everything in the menu is good!!

Visited with some family about 3 weeks ago. Everyone order something different and everyone was extremely impressed with the food. I order the buffalo chicken chop sandwich and it had sooo much flavor that kept building and was amazing! Same for my sisters wings which were asian chili or something like that. Other orders were Da Jawn, loaded fries, and chicken tenders for the kids. Even the chicken tenders were delicious! Definitely want to go back some time and highly recommend :)

What happened??? 😔 I came here a couple years ago when they were fairly new and the chop cheese blew my mind. I revisited a couple weeks ago and the meat on my chop cheese was not all warm, gooey, and cheesey like last time. The meat on my chop cheese was thick and pasty, seems like it may have been prepared the night prior and then microwaved. My chicken and cheese empanada was more dough than filling and very dry. I did tip but it definitely was not for the food it was for the service because the ladies that run the front are truly wonderful. I'll give it another try and judge whether I'll be back based on that.
