I have to say I was quite disappointed with this meal. Not terrible but not very good either. Very overpriced for what amounts to very mediocre quality fish and food in general. The fish did not taste very fresh and the salmon cup appetizer had no flavor at all. I don't plan on returning.

Please don’t order the salmon cups. Otherwise, the hand rolls were great and service was really good. I tried to get the salmon cups off the bill but the manager was unhelpful. On the other hand, our server was very kind.

The food was very good! Fish was very fresh and our favorite was the spicy shrimp tempura hand roll. The tempura batter was crispy & warm!

The entire staff is very attentive and kind. We will be back!

One of the best Japanese hand rolls I’ve had in so long! I can’t believe this place exists in Chinatown. Everything was so tasty, especially the miso cod hand roll. We also liked the sweet potato roll as well. Somehow we liked the wagyu one the least. But overall, very remarkable place!

This is my third time at Chubby Nori! The food is always so fresh, and it’s delightful to sit at the bar and watch your hand rolls be made! The location is super easy to get to, just a 5 or so min walk from Jefferson Station. The service is kind and knowledgeable, and the ambiance is fun! But can get a little loud on busier nights. They have very good drinks as well! Can’t wait to dine again!
