I'm a Philly girl. Grow up on cheesesteaks and when I want a true cheesesteak experience, not just something to eat, this is where we go. The vibe is quintessential Philly. Especially if you sit at the counter. No Boob Money allowed though, so come carrying your cash in your pocket or purse!

I liked it. It's across the street from Dalessandro's. Dalessandro's has lines 40 deep outside the place. Chubby's has no lines. I know this about a cheese steak - the bread matters. The bread at Chubby's is on point. The sandwich was solid. Melted white American.

It also has a full bar on the inside - which was unexpected and cool.

I was able to park in their lot, and was able to get a table quickly inside. There were arou d 12 other patrons when I came in. I order curley fries, and a cheese steak with onions, peppers, and cheese whiz. I do t thinl it took more than 5 minutes before I got my food! The portions were a bigger than expected. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted great! The quality was excellent! I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Philadelphia.
