My only issue was the area, the front door had broken glass, and it needs to be fixed, and some of the customers are just very rude to the employees, overall the food was great...
I like it I’ll get like a 3 piece and a side of okra bites. Decent service and they try to stay as clean as possible despite the fact it’s at the terminal.
Drove from Rhode Island to have fried chicken here, I guess it’s their most northern branch in the US. Staff were friendly, I ordered three piece of chicken, biscuit, coleslaw and sweet tea for $9, they gave me leg, thigh and breast, even the breast was sooooo juicy! They only do takeout now, no dine-in.
Honestly not going to lie, fried pigeon on a Hawaiian was half decent. walked outside to some bum smelling the sweet scents of bubbling castor oil while laying on the sidewalk half dead. My wife wanted the platter but I said only thing I can get you right now is Hugh Johnson’s special! Slapped it a few times on the few teeth she has left and enjoyed my side of stuffing. Thanks church see ya soon .
It was something to eat, not good at all. The Asian lady cashier was rude. I didn't pay for my food and never will. The sweet biscuit was the only good item
Dirty, unkept, take out only. Too lazy to allow eat in. No Access to restroom. Very strange owner.
This is the only Church's chicken left in the city so I don't expect service to be fast especially the time I went (6pm). My chicken and sides were both hot and I had got 2 banana puddings also. When I got home I opened both banana puddings. One of them looked fine but the other was a science experiment! Growing quite a lot of mold. I called the restaurant and no one answered. Very upset I wasted my money. *Update*... I went back the following day with receipt and was offered a refund.
Parking: Parking lot in back by drive thru
The employer lady was cooking was not good customer service. After I'm order my food and I'm pay, im order another order that lady was ignore, because she's need to maker another order.
When I go in the restaurant I look for people to watch their hands and you never see that and I also watched their windows on their doors if they don't clean the doors they don't clean the stores
This Smokehouse Chicken was delicious. This is the only Church's Chicken left in Philly. I love Church's Chicken.

We don't have many churches in our area however the drive-thru wasn't working the area is terrible we had to park and come in but the food was great my children were craving honey biscuits.... We only have two churches both are about 20 minutes away from me but the one on Frankford avenue is my go-to one always....
You can see my review of the Church's in Lawnside NJ. Well this brand is so rare in the Philly Metro area the other other Church's that is anywhere near me is the one on Frankford Ave, where the Market-Frankford Subway/Elevated ends at Bridge and Pratt. And I was absolutely floored to find a completely different chicken quality here. So much better in the crispy coating department! I would have never thought the two places were under the same umbrella! This is a much longer ride but well worth it! I only had the three piece, and the meal with fries and that honey coated biscuit is about ten bucks. I had asked if there were any specials available and was told no, so I was a bit muffed that as I pulled away, on the front windows was a tennpue e legs and thighs deal for 10.99 ! Maybe it's just as well, I would only have gorged myself on that bounty in a sad display of gluttony. My three piece included a leg, thigh, and surprisingly, a breast piece! A slip up? If so I'm not complaining. Let me tell you, it might be that it was only 20 minutes after opening, and I've always been aware that any given batch of any given brand is subject to the crew on duty at the time's adherence to the formula that makes the brand what it is, but this here is my new favorite. And I recently had a Popeyes batch that put them back on top over Texas Chicken and Burgers underrated yardbird. I have a try this locale again and I make sure it's not a fluke, but this stands a chance of being on the top of my list soon! Now here's my public service announcement:. Avoid this area after sundown - in fact I recommend an early lunch grab and go before the skells get active. I had tried to go here and had just missed the closing, I think is early too, like 9pm. The streets are heavy with the walking dead, it's like Bartertown and if you think that's being unduly mean, I'll reveal that I'm inner-city born and raised, weathered the worst phase (the 70s) of the city's gangfare, and I would leave open the possibility of not stopping here if the street derelict activity is peaking on subsequent visits. If it at all can be helped, DO NOT get out of your car to dine in! The drive thru is back behind the establishment in a dank and dreary lot that gets WAY too dark at night. Get your chicken and run. I've said my piece, you've been warned, my conscience is clear.
I was excited to see one! But it's not like it use to be. It was hot though!
Chicken and biscuits were good but after I got all the way back crosstown I realized they forgot the fried okra
Staff was nice but it didn't taste like Church's it taste more like that Texas chicken place.
