My family has been dining at Cin Cin for more than 20 years, but our recent experience ended that long relationship. Last Saturday had a 7:15 p.m. reservation for two. The restaurant was packed, but we were told we were next to be seated. When a small table opened in the bar area, we chose to wait for one in the main dining room. Within minutes, that same table was given to a couple who walked in without a reservation. A few minutes later, another couple without a reservation arrived and waited with us. Then a party of three came in and began scouting the dining room for open tables and bugging the hostess. Despite their behavior and lack of a reservation, they were seated in a booth before both waiting parties who had arrived earlier and, in our case, had a confirmed reservation. When we questioned the hostess and manager, both couples expressed frustration and disbelief at how seating was being handled. By the time we were finally seated—around 7:40 p.m.—we had lost any desire to stay. We left without ordering and went elsewhere. After two decades of loyalty, we left feeling disrespected and dismissed. The restaurant’s management and host staff failed to honor reservations or treat guests fairly. Sadly, we won’t be returning.
Wonderful take out lunch for a birthday celebration. And you should know they can make many dishes vegetarian - just ask!
Excellent, I had peiking duck. The service is phenomenal. They could use a update as far as the interior is decoration is concerned but overall great food!

I was looking for roast crispy duck. I didn't want to go to Chinatown because its gotten rundown, yucky traffic, expensive parking and horrible SEPTA. I decided to stay in my neighborhood so I could walk. I worried about it being expensive. Chestnut Hill is high end and the restaurant looked pricey.
What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE! I was a solo table but still treated like a queen with lots of servers checking in, giving water and smiling. The roast duck in black bean sauce on the cast iron plate was SCRUMPTIOUS. It comes with a healthy side of white rice and delicate, flavorful bok choi. The skin was crispy yet NOT oily or greasy. The CHUNKS of tender duck meat were excellent. The sauce was thick, savory and yummy. FOODGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The portion was so healthy that I was able to take a container home for lunch the next day.
Then I ordered the Mudslide ice cream pie for dessert. PERFECTION. Dense, creamy, sweet but not cloying with nut accents, fresh strawberries and cream as garnish. Cool treat on a humid Summer night.
When the bill came, I was shocked that it was less than $40. I did not order a cocktail because I wanted to concentrate on the food. I gave them a big tip and said I am absolutely returning.
I am also addicted to their spring rolls too. Two perfect crunchy flaky rolls filled with a balanced combination of shrimp, cheese, and cabbage that you can dip in duck sauce or mustard or just enjoy plain.

Very nice atmosphere, good food and impeccable service.
Our water glass stayed full and the table was cleared appropriately between courses.
Service is everything and it’s the reason we dine out in the first place. I will definitely return.
