I went there for a cheesesteak tonight, close to closing time. The customer service was impeccable! My cheesesteak was cooked to PERFECTION! The roll was nice and soft, the steak was seasoned very well, but not overly salty, the fried onions had a nice crunch to them, not overcooked. My beer was even the perfect temperature. I had a very good experience at this restaurant and I will definitely return!!!!!
Overall, I like City View. I usually order during the day, sometimes they are really busy nights and weekends (which is to be expected). I always get their buffalo chicken slice and curly fries (make sure to get fries well done). I also like their chicken caesar wrap. Keep in mind, they do not sell slices after 4pm. The service is usually pretty quick and everything is always consistent. There are other options I like better due to the price and how busy City View can get at times...
I was very confused by the stromboli, what I grew up with was dough rolled with cheese and toppings inside, with tomato sauce on the side. What I got was dough folded in half with cheese, toppings and sauce inside. Not what I'm used to and I didn't enjoy it. Maybe that's what other people think stromboli is?
