I came to this cafe for the first time and was shamed for wanting a seat at a table alone. Apparently they don't let people sit at tables unless they're with a group. The place is small, and a lot of people go to coffee shops alone to work or relax. I often go to places by myself, and this is the first time I have ever felt discrimination for dining alone. There were other issues too. I'd tried to visit during their stated business hours, but they were actually closed. I came back and had this experience. There didn't seem to be any climate control, as the shop was just as hot inside as it was outside, so, like 85° give or take. They had a sign by the register saying they are hiring. If the young man who I had the negative interaction with is the manager, I can see why they have a retention problem. If he has no qualms about shaming customers for being alone, I can't imagine what a nightmare it would be to work for this person. Spend your money up the street at reanimator, they have AC and won't shame a person for wanting a table.
First time dining in at Coffee House Too! The staff are absolutely wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and fun. Accommodating of dietary needs. The food portions are very large, so plan appropriately! The atmosphere is very cozy and I like how they utilize the space. Also super queer friendly. Come support your local cafe and coffee house!

Just had the most delightful little date here, the food was excellent and the server was super nice! Cozy atmosphere as well and the price is very good for the amount of food you get :)

Cash only, be prepared! Friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating swapping eggs and cheese for tofu on their breakfast menu. The Veggie Hangover Hoagie was really tasty and satisfying, I really needed something like this in the neighborhood. Thanks to the other reviewer who noted the hoagie! ❤️ The coffee was just ok, but they have non diary milks ??
Coffee House Too is a neighborhood staple! My favorite coffee shop in the whole city. Josh, Derek, & crew are great people serving delicious food and excellent coffee. The Hangover Hoagie is a must try.

The staff are all very kind and helpful, and the food is delicious and well priced. We’ve only eaten in once since the renovation and didn’t care much for the atmosphere.

Coffee House Too - Everything you’d want in a neighborhood brunch spot. Enter through the front and you’re greeted by friendly baristas. Seating is upstairs, probably around 8 tables, seating for 25ish. Vibe is like you’re sitting at your Mom’s breakfast nook.
Servers were super nice. (Josh and Lucas) Offered water with lemon OR cucumber (what???). They have coffee drinks (I had a vanilla latte and they asked if I wanted cinnamon or nutmeg, adorbs) Eva had iced coffee. Strong.
Don’t tell anyone but they offer free mimosas, Bloody Marys, or OJ.
The main event. Food was sooo good. I had the pastrami hash (griddled pastrami, peppers, potatoes, Swiss, and three fried eggs). Eva had a MASSIVE veggie breakfast burrito (all the veg, egg, cheddar, and homemade pico).
Support this amazing small business!

a delightful find in fishtown.. excellent service, tasty brunch. cozy upstairs away from the bustle.
complementary mimosa didn't hurt either..
avoid the wait at green eggs and go here..
(the house party music was the only thing that took away from the relaxed brunch atmosphere )

The food is good and the servers are nice but the mangers are rude and don't know how to treat their servers. Very controlling and mean. They don't give you space to breathe. I don't recommend working here if you hate being micromanaged.
They are always sooooo nice! And everything tastes so good! In particular I recommended the veggie breakfast hoagie and the breakfast bowls (both savory and sweet). Bonus they give you free drinks while waiting for your order. Also the dining area opened recently and is very cute.
