Olive oil poppy cake $5.50 very moist. Could feel the effects of oiliness after a couple bites. Lots of poppy seeds gives it a nice crunch. Decent size slice as a meal or snack if shared.Free cold waterGood variety of seats. Solo spinning couches, two people tables, four people larger tables, counter. Music a bit loud

Great house specialty coffee drinks. Really enjoyed the cardamom latte. I asked for a bit less sweetness than their regular version and it was just right!Staff was very kind and friendly. I only wish they had at least one vegan pastry /food option so I could make it a breakfast stop.Vegetarian options: They offer dairy-free milk but no vegan food options

Cogito is a lovely coffee shop, with lots of space to sit and accessible restrooms. The music is ambient - there, but not loud so you can't hear the person you're talking to. The wooden chairs are ok but not super comfortable, and there's no public WiFi which is both super disappointing and an indication to me that they're hoping you don't plan to settle in for the day. I wasn't, so that was fine by me, if again, a bit disappointing.I had a good cappuccino. Not the best I've ever had, been good. It didn't come with sugar (wasn't asked if I wanted it & would have turned it down if offered - which didn't happen). It also didn't come with a glass of water (though the folks surrounding me both had one) so I guess I had to ask for that too. For the price, the cappuccino was on the small side. Also, it was served lukewarm versus hot. The focus here is coffee. There is a very small selection of pastries, just croissants and a cocoa olive oil cake. Coffee is available for sale, in bean form which is a huge plus for me since I always grind my own at home. Overall, I struggled with the number of stars. To me, it's a solid 3.5 but I graded up to be fair.

I LOVE COGITO! Not only do they create a great atmosphere in which to enjoy your coffee, they're also always friendly and make a great latte. Take advantage of their house made brown sugar cinnamon syrup when they have it!

It’s really empty inside. I thought it was New or under construction but a sign said it was celebrating it’s 4th birthday. Staff was ok. My drink was made incorrectly so they remade it. But my drink was 3/4 full.

Nice place to chat or study, looking out into the city! My biggest complaint as others have said is no public wifi -- kind of an expectation for cafés to have wifi in the city. Inconvenient to hotspot, and hard to study or do work if you don't have one. The latte was pretty good! Nothing special but super solid.

Pretty hostile environment here, no wifi either. They force you to buy something within 60s of sitting down even if you've literally just pulled out your laptop, they don't even give you the opportunity to become a customer before treating you like a "loiterer"

The people working here are nice and the space is beautiful and well lit. However, the drinks are a bit overpriced (over $6 for an oat milk cappuccino) and they do not offer wi-fi if you want to work or study there

Cogito comes from Croatia but I discover them in Philly. Their beans are sourced and tasted distinct and hard to miss. We need more European coffee places and thanks for coming to Philly.Tip: there are bar seats around

We visited many coffee shops on our visit to Philadelphia this week. Cogito was the best! The vanilla late was VERY good. Loved the calm atmosphere and city views.

I was there last year but i havenot given any review coz i didnot like my coffee. Usually if try to give a place 2 chances before judging if its especially 1 star for me.I had hot chocolate yesterday and ended up getting 2 of them. The staff was sweet and friendly. It was very peaceful for me to read a book aswell. The cafe was pretty big and peaceful. Mostly people stayed to read a book or work. I would go back again.

Neat cafe, huge space and great place to work because they dont blast music however, no wifi! You will need to connect to your hotspot. I am in love with a good matcha, here they whisk the matcha and its not already pre sweetened so you can tailor to your taste. Loved it! I definitely will be here, the prices are a bit higher but its in a good location!
