Comfort & Floyd serves up comfort food at this casual neighborhood spot with all the neighborhood feels. A few visits and you’ll feel like a part of the family. A great array of menu items, more than ample servings, all delicious and well prepared.
1-1-1 was delicious! Diner vibes, good diner quality. Will be back!
Little corner breakfast spot, be prepared to wait. The service was a little slow and forgetful as a whole. The food was okay, not very memorable.
Sat outside for breakfast! Got here right when they opened on a Saturday and were seated right away. Inside is cute and small but definitely worth the wait if there is one.
Delicious cornmeal blueberry pancakes & chocolate chip banana pancakes! Both short stacks & got the 2/2/2 with scrambled eggs & sausage! Iced coffee was good & orange juice had a nice amount of pulp, so yummy. Can’t wait to come back to try more!
Absolutely the best find by my boyfriend!
We were heading for the airport and needed to grab a quick bite. We landed at Comfort & Floyd - we were just staring around the tiny, unique and antique looking place. We are certainly intrigued. Since we are vegetarians, we wanted to see what they have - tried their blueberry cornmeal pancakes and LentilBerry Sandwich.
Both of them were excellent! The sandwich was really unique and very well put together.
Love it love it! Will be back
This place is a gem! That’s all I will say.
Perfect vibes. Noteworthy food.
It lived up to the hype and then some- thanks to the staff for above and beyond friendly service; the food was delicious 😋 👌 -try the Blueberry Cornmeal Pancakes- coffee was nice; and it gave us a great start to our first day in Philly- get there early and bring your appetite 😀
Favorite breakfast in the city. Great food, every time.
Walked in on a Saturday morning around 10am and was able to be sat within 20 minutes! They have a cozy dining area, although the line moved quickly. Will definitely return soon!

I remember this place being good, but not as good as it was today! It was worth the wait and worth dealing with my claustrophobia. They’re making the best of the space, and Danielle, our server, took great care of us.
Their pancake is one of my fave pancakes in the city, no doubt. It’s large but with crispness on the outside, and fluffiness on the inside. My sis enjoyed her tuna melt so much and said it “brought her back to life.” I don’t f with tuna but if I did, I’d be all over it.
Got the scallion waffle — such a quality waffle that was perfectly savory and fluffy, with crisp exterior — and the bacon cooper rolled omelette. Don’t normally love omelettes but this one spoke to me, and I’m glad it did. It was delicious and nicely filled, and the side of home fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Great ingredients, great food, and nice people. Looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow. Can’t wait to come back!
I always forget that this place is around the corner and glad I finally made my way out on a cold day 1/12/25. You walk in and put your name down on the list and it’s a small tight space so had to wait outside. Took maybe about 20 minutes and someone came out to get me as someone left to let me know I could wait inside from the cold.
Waited maybe about another 8 minutes and then was able to sit at the counter. Usually I always am a sucker for biscuits and gravy but had to go with the kielbasa omelette , added scrapple and got biscuit on side which comes with jelly. Biscuit was lightly dry on its own so the jelly helped.
The omelet was delicious on its own even without the scrapple which I loved. Had to add this to the biscuit for a full bite. Coffee is decent I forget what they have but I’ll definitely be back as this already is one of a fave spot for me when initially I was going to go with the tuna melt, I’m going to try to go thru 9 more items while maintaining my figure lol. Staff is nice and I won’t forget to be back! lol
The food here is incredible. But the food takes well over 30 minutes to come out, and the inside is super crowded (like elbow to elbow), so if you don't want to hear every single word that your neighboring table is saying.. don't come here.
Also, our server spilled tomato soup on my bf and didn't acknowledge it at all 🫠
Friendly staff . Cozy vintage spot . Food top notch . Homemade biscuits great ! Homefries excellent!
Great service and great food.
