I have been here three times and it is outstanding. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food is terrific. I've had the margherita pizza, peppers, artichoke, gemelli, and focaccia. All are highly recommended. If this place was any closer to my apartment, I'd have a serious weight problem. :)

Very good pizza, flavorful pasta and nice ambience. I wish the pasta was a little more cooked, but other than that great place! They were also accommodating to our dietary preferences.

Trying to reinvent the wheel
Here. reinvent Italian with strange combinations. Stick to old school comfort food that people want.

The Caesar salad was hot Romain full lettuce lettuce heads, un chopped and soaking wet. End of the lettuce were burnt. Worst Caesar salad I’ve ever seen or tasted. The fusilli pasta we got had way too much sesame oil, overpowering the dish….so I don’t recommend that one either. The short rib sandwich was OK.

While I totally appreciate that this spot is new, I do think it has some growing pains to go through before realizing its identity.

The menu itself has a few things that could be interesting. We started with the Caesar: there was a bit of a paucity of dressing, the lettuce wedge was a bit hard to eat, and while I fully recognize that Caesar dressing has anchovies in it I am not a fan of serving actual anchovies on top of the salad as I don't feel like it adds anything and if anything detracts from the experience. Spicy bolognese pizza was fine, nothing terribly special and crust could be a bit firmer as the pizza itself was a bit floppy. The bucatini with crab was a total miss, which was disappointing. The sauce totally overpowered any opportunity to taste what (little?) crab there was.

The pricing is a bit on the higher end, which could be fine if the food were a bit more elevated. But what I think needs the most work is the overall personality of the restaurant. Everyone was nice enough. But it felt like I was in a hotel lobby the whole time in terms of decor, interactions, etc., and I feel that they would benefit from a bit more personality.

We had the Rabbit Pizzaiola and Gemelli and both were phenomenal! Great price point given the quality you receive and it’s right in U City. Great spot for college folks looking for an upscale experience!

I am being extremely generous by giving this a 1 star for food. I was BEYOND disappointed, being this was to be a pre-Birthday dinner for myself. I had mapped out what I wanted for dinner per their IG page. May I say, this is by far the WORST meal if you call (bloody wings - a bite and a Margherita pizza - a couple bites) a meal. I wish I took pictures of the chicken 🐔 wings that got away and the pizza that was beyond packed with soggy tomatoes, sauce that was bland and lacking taste...just an OVERALL disappointment. I will say, probably since it's a newer restaurant it will get better. Tell me about it when you go, because I won't be back. Should have went to Pietro's. Service was mediocre 😕. Good thing is they comped the cosmopolitan and the nonexistent pre-Birthday dinner. Thank you.

I came here on a whim for wine and pizza and it did not disappoint! Not only was everything delicious but service was friendly and the space itself is beautiful. The restaurant is open and bright-great vibes and good food. A welcome addition to University City. I’ll definitely be back!

Just went here and was so happy with my experience! We had the hoagie salad to start which was delicious. The potato pesto pizza was so refreshing and it was honestly some of the best pizza crust I’ve had in Philly. The decor is really sleek and a welcome addition to University city. The service was top notch and I’m excited to come back !

My friend and I came for dinner last night and absolutely loved it! First off, the place itself is lovely and bright, with a great bar and ambiance. There's plenty of parking in the area, which is huge. The service was top notch, from the hostess to the server, and our food and drinks were delicious. It does currently have a limited menu, however, I'll take a well-executed limited menu over a so-so large menu any day. The pricing is on par for the area, but the experience makes it worth every penny. Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Great twists on traditional pizza and pasta dishes. Very cool space. Laid back but still high quality. So glad to see this place come to the neighborhood.
