The two pastries I had were like something off a church pot luck in the 90s and the Brownie did not look or taste like chocolate whatsoever. It's time for them to step up their game in a competitive market, especially because the location is cool.

What a fantastic place to stop for a bite to eat and enjoy some live music. It was windy outside and a wonderful gentleman helped us into a second story sitting area that let us finish our food without blowing away.
Food was amaaaaazing, the chicken is so well done. Love the experience - thank you! ?

The breakfast sandwich was just ok and there was hair in my bagel. They don't wear hair nets. I asked a lady if the salad was good, She said "blah". It's the only place over here which is why I think it's popular.

My Saturday morning running club @lezrun starts at Lloyd Hall and finishes at Cosmic Cafe with laughs and conversation over a wide assortment of beverages and generously portioned meals and snacks, either outside in nice weather or upstairs when we must. I love all the staff and it’s the only place I feel like “a regular.”
Really beautiful place to relax, eat and work. I just wished people could read the signs and STOP smoking in this area. There should be better enforcement from the shop owners, but I understand you can't stop them all.

What a beautiful day we had on our bicycling journey from Center City Philadelphia. We rode north on a bike/walking path to Boathouse Row.
The weather was gorgeous. As we explored the area north of the City.
Then we came upon a lovely place to buy lunch and some mint tea. It is called The Cosmic Cafe and Cider House. Where we ordered a tuna on marble rye and a turkey bacon BLT wrap, with two glasses of delicious mint tea.
The service was extremely good. The food was absolutely perfect. And the mint tea was so refreshing.
I am so glad that we discovered this hidden gem, just off of the Schuylkill River. As it's nestled underneath the trees and a cool soft breeze is felt.
We had such a relaxing time eating lunch outside of The Cosmic Cafe and Cider House.
Vegetarian options: Everything listed on the menu that has a green leaf marker, is vegetarian. There are many such items.
Kid-friendliness: It's definitely kid friendly. It is a family and friends kind of environment.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is access. And places to sit down and eat. The bathroom is on the ground level and just down the building, not very far at all.

Great little sandwich shop by the water, with regular performances by local artists.
Small quiet corner by the river. The salads are hearty and excellent. A very good value for money. A perfect lunch.
