Aside from the fact that Crab & Claw smells so fishy (I KNOWWW…it’s a fish market), I really have enjoyed everything I’ve ever eaten from here. From raw fish and other seafood that I prepare at home, to Dungeness crab, broccoli, corn and potatoes platters, to fried flounder and shrimp….(I’m getting hungry)….its all fresh and I have no complaints.

I got the two piece whiting platter, it was good for the price. My only small complaint is that the fish could've stood some seasoning and the coleslaw that comes with it had a lil twang taste but fortunately I didn't get sick. Customer service was on point though and that's huge for me so I probably come back and try another platter.

The fried family seafood platter was ok but the cleaned blue crabs with the butter garlic sauce was horrible it stunk up my whole house, no meat and they were old very disappointed ?

So this is how my trip went. Traveled about an hour and a half to come try this place. I ordered 3 of the "colossal" crabs. Heads up , they are females which means they are already lacking meat. They were literally the size of the $1 crabs I would get in my city. No way they measured 6" to "7 inches. Don't play in my face like I don't know my crabs. Don't market them as "jumbo" or "colossal" if they clearly are not. Got the 2lbs of half split blue crabs. They had ZERO meat in them. I cannot make this up. And the little bit of meat they did have was super overcooked. I had to throw it away. The shrimp salad was flavorless and whatever white substance they tossed it with was gross. Not gonna even try to sugarcoat that. Thank GOD I added a order of the Jumbo Snow Crab because those were perfect. Big and verrrry meaty. I would come back for those. I wish I had only gotten those! Now , what I would say , is that I would come here and get snow crab , king crab , fish ect RAW and go home and cook it myself. The market aspect of this establishment had a lot of variety and the size , prices of the jumbo snow crab and king crab added up nicely. I'd come back for that and only that.

Stood in front of seafood counter for fried family meal for 10 minutes only to be told by a customer not the workers that they "weren't cooking anymore" they looked me in my face multiple times without saying a word. So needless to say although I've been here many times I won't be back I see why they have a not so favorable rating.

Never again fried shrimp was frozen from a box Then charge me for extra for cocktail sauce. They charge you extra to steamed any seafood which was no good at all.

A no go. I can do without the black guy at the counter with the glasses and salt and pepper hair passive aggressive attitude. The first time I visited, I walked in on him arguing with a customer. Didn't think anything of it because I didn't witness what happened. I politely ordered and he was extremely nasty. I gave another try thinking maybe he was just having a bad day. Same thing. As I observe him working, he tends to only be this way with women.

I ordered whiting platter; med shrimp platter, crab sticks and Cajun seafood salad.I enjoyed the crab sticks and shrimp, the fish wasn’t nasty but it was bland and kinda tough, may need to switch up what you coat it in. The Cajun seafood was way too spicy, was expecting a kick but it almost messed my stomach up. Overall the food was fresh; prepared in a timely manner! Just make some minor adjustments to see some major changes.

Fish Was As TUFF AS SHOE LEATHER, French fries were Good, Coleslaw AWFUL!!Ordered 1 Whitting Hoagie,And Again, Fish WAS TUFF AS SHOE LEATHER, BUT The Roll was Soft and Eattable,lettuse,tomatoe,and Onions Were Fresh and Good. But,NEVER AGAIN!! ORDERED Seafood Salad Excellent!! Scrimp Salad Was Ok,Not Bad.. but, For the$$$$, it's Best to Buy Fresh and Cook At HOME!! THIS PLACE IS FRESH AND CLEAN!!! GREAT SELECTIONS OF ALL SEAFOODS!!!
