Sambusa
Samosa, a fried dough pastry stuffed with potatoes, peas, lentil and spices.
Chicken-Spinach Sandwich (12")
Two good entrees combined into a sandwich. On bread roll or injera.

Tomato Salad
{Kachumbari} Tomatoes chopped with onions, green chili, parsley and a lemon oil house dressing.
Feta House Salad
Feta cheese, lettuce, chopped tomato, onion, green chili and olive oil house dressing.

Doro (Chicken)
Ye'doro Tibs
Chicken cubes braised in a distinctive sauce, then sauteed with peppers, onions, garlic and clarified butter (netter kibeb) with traditional herbs and spices. This dish is a commonly preferred choice of chicken as it is an easy stir-fry-like dish that's not as spicy but can be spiced to your preference and served dry or wet.

Loving the new look with the mesob tables. I was expecting the authentic Ethiopian dining experience where they bring out a big round plate for the mesob and we all eat off of it, but we were given a small square plate to serve one. Food was great though. And the date cake is delicious. Do try it.

I wish they could import Tej. I fell in love with honey wine at an Ethiopian restaurant in Queens and haven’t had any since.

Top spot for food and nightlife in West Philadelphia! Very grateful for the late night menu and happy hour, as it’s super difficult to have an amazing meal at night in the city. Special shoutout to the performers and DJs that keep the atmosphere lively at Dahlak.

I met my sweetheart here for a first date. He was recently moved to the Philadelphia area and mentioned in his profile that he hoped to try an Ethiopian restaurant. I suggested Dahlak, which I had been going to for about 40 years, although not recently. The food was still decent, the service and atmosphere mediocre. But I'm giving it five stars because the date was great. He brought me some of his homemade red lentil stew, frozen and carefully wrapped in an Amazon padded...
