What an absolutely legendary cheesesteak! As someone who has eaten more cheesesteaks than any normal human should comsume, I daresay this missile of a sandwich was the best I've ever had. Fried onions, peppers, and mushrooms, and all 3 cheeses. The food came fast, the service was excellent, and the pricing was exactly where it needs to be, especially considering tye quality of the food these people are churning out. The portion size was perfect for a hearty fat man such as myself. This will now ALWAYS be the place I go for the most unctuous, velvety cheesesteaks. My life is forever changed.

I am not from Philly, but I have been there to try cheesesteak multiple times. This place has beat the others that I tried. The bread was soft, the meat was chopped, the cheese was blended in the meat, and the onions were grilled. I enjoyed it better than the one's offering whiz and because everything was mixed every bite was amazing! Delessandro's for the win!

After about 12 trips to Philly for doctor appointments, I finally got to try some local food – all thanks to a wrong turn. Ended up at Dalessandro’s and it was absolutely worth the detour from the highway. Great food, totally lived up to the hype!

I drove all the way frm NYC for this.. it was absolutely worth the trip
Once again!!! Was in the mood for a bite. Chicken Whizz steak with extra cheese. The meat was good if you like the fine diced meat. My issue is the roll, it's too soft. A good sandwich has to have an equal balance. The roll should be a little harder or toasted as to hold the meat and cheese. The roll used here is just to soft. It falls apart. Check out my review of Chubby across the street like BEST fries ever!!!!!

So this is my experience!! I am heading back to Florida today and if you are in Philly you have to eat a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich it is a must. Well on my way to the airport we stopped there and ordered 3 Philly cheesesteak to go to Florida. They packed the sandwich perfectly to travel back to Florida and almost missed my flight due to the wait. Well…….. it was their perfect sandwich!!! Awesome awesome awesome!! Can’t wait to come back to Philadelphia 🥰❤️💋

Still no consistently better steak than Dalessandro's. They get your order right and your steak is ALWAYS stuffed full of delicious meat. My only complaint is the seriously slow pick up window ... you wait 15 minutes for your steak but then you wait another 10 to 15 minutes in all types of weather in the pickup line. it's really frustrating. They need to improve this process - open a 2nd window, open the door and hand out orders... do something. The lady walking around with a phone asking our name doesn't get the order out the window any sooner ... ug.
