What an absolutely legendary cheesesteak! As someone who has eaten more cheesesteaks than any normal human should comsume, I daresay this missile of a sandwich was the best I've ever had. Fried onions, peppers, and mushrooms, and all 3 cheeses. I am not from Philly, but I have been there to try cheesesteak multiple times. This place has beat the others that I tried. The bread was soft, the meat was chopped, the cheese was blended in the meat, and the onions were grilled. I enjoyed it better than the one's offering whiz and because everything was mixed every bite was amazing! Delessandro's for the win!
After about 12 trips to Philly for doctor appointments, I finally got to try some local food – all thanks to a wrong turn. Ended up at Dalessandro’s and it was absolutely worth the detour from the highway. Great food, totally lived up to the hype!
