I recently moved back to Philly from DC. Being half Italian, but also being recently disabled, I was craving authentic Italian food. Uber Eats recommended DaMo Pasta Lab.Here's my takes: I ordered the Focaccia Bianca, which was quite lovely, and a generous portion for the price. I also ordered the meatballs, listed as the "daily special" for the day. Also, quite good -the meatballs were moist and tender. 2 were burnt, but maybe some people like them that way?Ordered the Cacio e Pepe, and was very disappointed. Although the pasta was perfectly cooked, it was "Cacio Alfredo." Wah. Shame on me.Finished off with the Torta Susanna, which is a ricotta cake topped with a thick chocolate topping. Also very good, but too much chocolate for my taste (unnecessary, and I'm a chocoholic). I plan on making variations on this as my own.I'll give it another shot, but so disappointed with the Cacio e Pepe.

They serve fresh pasta in a short time. I liked how I could make and customize my order.

Calcio de Pepe tasted like Alfredo from a jar and the pasta was undercooked, not al dente, just undercooked.

We recently went to Italy, so I can say the portions, noodles and sauces are authentic and very tasty.

Food is way too expensive. They give you small portions as well as the owner's wife has an attitude problem. When I ordered their pasta, it was gummy and undercooked. I told one of the employees and they shrugged and ended up telling me that that's how they cook. Very unprofessional. If you want good food for your money's worth as well as a pleasant experience, this by all means isn't the place. Already told all of my friends never to set foot inside this dump again. PS: the place was dirty and the floor smelled like old mop as well as the windows looked horribly dirty as well.

I love this place! The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are so friendly and accommodating.I always come here with my girlfriend and the staff helps make us feel comfortable while we are there. They brought the food to our table, even though I don't think that's standard. We were very appreciative. The pasta is always fresh and made in house, and your dish is made to order.Highly recommend for a quick and healthy bite to eat while in the city.

This is truly Italian (from Abruzzo more specifically) and reminds me of my summers on the hills of the Marche region. Would deserve a Michelin Bib

I went because I love pasta, but it was very expensive for what you get. I got the large portion of the tagliatelle with meat sauce and a garden salad, yet I was still hungry afterwards. (I'm a big guy, but still.) The "garden salad" is literally just a small bowl of lettuce with dressing - no variety. The actual food itself is tasty, and the staff is good with keeping track of what goes on. Even though it's touch screen ordering and open seating, they know who to bring the food out to, without needing a number or name for the order.Interesting place. Just not something to pick if you're on a budget

Small portions, pasta cooked without any type of special touch. Not equipped to handle busy nights. Waited over 45 minutes for a simple, two pasta to go order. Restaurant staff was completely overwhelmed.

Fast service, great food! Got takeout from here with my family and the pasta was still steaming hot when we got home to eat it. Great for a quick, delicious meal.
