There is no place better in the Tri-State area. Absolutely love D'Angelos and have been there numerous times each time is better than the last. Great owners and staff. Just the best !!!

What's not to love These guys are legends- Tony, Sal & Gus...... and the food that comes out of the kitchen- authentic - its like Philly's Italian version of - "CHEERS" Everyone knows your name. super fun to see the neighbors! neighborhood favorite. our Friday night spot

One of the worst Philly restaurant experiences ever. Got seated at our table and didn't have anyone greet us nor check in nor ask if we wanted drinks in over half an hour of getting seated. Attempted to get drinks from the bar and was shoo'd away and told we had to order at our table. Finally we told the busboy in Spanish that we needed a waiter right now and they sent over the rude 1 toothed bartender to get our drink order but it was too late at that point. Was looking forward to eating there but left high and dry and disgusted and ended up leaving.

It just seems as if every time I eat at D'Angelo's, the food and service are better than the time before. This is one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia, hands-down. My branzino, filleted table-side, was exquisite, the caprese salad had tomatoes the size of my fist, the broccoli rabe was crisp and delicious, the side of pasta, al dente, with homemade marainara was terrific and the staff is wonderfully professional. The wine list is carefully selected and the pricing reasonable. That's why I dine at D'Angelo's about a dozen times a year or more. It's just a wonderful experience at every level. Don't miss it.

We went here with a group of 10 people right before Christmas expecting a great meal. We were disappointed. For a well renounced Italian restaurant, he bread was hard and nothing to write home about, limited wine selection, the food was average and when we asked for Parmesan cheese they said they were running low and left us a minimum amount. Service was adequate. We were expecting better quality service and food.

Always a delightful evening. Especially when Sal brings out the guitar and serenades your table. Started off with a D'Angelos salad, a favorite. Followed by Langoustines perfectly done with butter and lemon. Then the Veal Chop with burnt onions. WOW. Desert was fresh fruit. Ristorante D'Angelo's has been around for 34 years and we have been enjoying this dining spot for 32. A little partial but you will not go wrong.

Food was just ok. The waitress we had was a bit ungrateful they charge a gratuity to the bill we left an extra 10 dollars on top of the gratuity we were charged and she basically told us that wasn’t enough will never return here never experienced that

We were basically harassed to leave a bigger tip. They charged us 10% gratuity on the bill which was 130. Then we left an extra 10 bucks which would bring the total to 15% we were told that wasn't enough ! I've never had this kind of experience at a restaurant will never return here. One of my friends ate here the night before and had the same issue unfortunately I didn't speak to them beforehand or I wouldn't have gone. The food was just ok I had a taste for Italian amd decided to give them a try big mistake food was subpar. Don't waste your money find a better Italian spot in the city.

Dinner last night was so delicious! The food came out rather quickly which was nice and everyone enjoyed their entrees. I had the chicken piccata and pasta with a caesar salad. My husband had the chicken parmesan and he thought it was so good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Old school Italian restaurant done right. Beautifully cooked veal chop with burnt onions and mushrooms was a melt in your mouth umami bomb. The linguini with crab and asparagus was the perfect bright counterpoint. The staff are veterans and give quality service while remaining low key. A pleasant experience from start to finish.

Used to love D'Angelos !! We were seated quickly which was a plus but wait staff/server was awful. Tony didn't fail to impress though. Was present and entertaining. I realize it was a big night but Server did not bring us one of our appetizers which was the one I chose. But of course it was on the bill. Not very attentive and seemed like he was in another space. Food was so salty you couldn't even tell what you were eating. Lobster franchises always my favorite anywhere was so salty couldn't even enjoy the lobster. Baked Shrimp covered with so much sauce hard to know what it was. Calamari was tough and not chewable. Mussels were so-so. Bread was dry and tasteless. Expected better from this establishment. With the price of parking $45 on top of a $250 meal not even close to wanting to return.

The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. However the food was disappointing. The bread was old, our clams casino was burnt to a crisp, and the main courses were below average. We got a veal parm where the sauce was half oil on the plate and we got the marinara with long hots and the long hots were extremely hot. Not the fault of the restaurant and I do love long hots, but it made my mouth on fire for the rest of the meal. We also got a coffee gelato and cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake was baked more than I would prefer and the gelato was fine. Overall, did not have a good food experience and do not think it was worth the money.
