WOW. I don't know what I just ate because it feels like the first time that I've eaten actual food. How is this place so good? Literally the food tastes like they just harvested all of it immediately before prepping. Literally blown away. This will probably be my #1 food place in Philly for years with zero close competition. I am seriously in awe of how good my first meal there just was. To the owners, please don't change, it's incredible. If you keep your prices this low too I'll probably eat there like 5+ times a week, no joke. Incredible. Bravo. Seriously.
UPDATE: I still love this place but WHAT HAPPENED TO BFF POTATOES? I miss them so much.
Thank you! Just moved here and honestly this is my favorite comfort food. Everything is absolutely delicious and delivered with love!
Well cooked and seasoned! Very fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back.
Amazing beef brisket wrap and pickled veggies!

The beet wrap is incredible and the owner Mark is very kind. I'll be back to try the Favalafel and the hand pies!!
OMG can you say DELICIOUS š my first time ordering and it was everything and more. So fresh, and just amazing and healthy at the same time. I'm obsessed. I read the comments so I figured to give it a try. It did not disappoint!
I had the crispy chicken schnitzel wrap and the vegan combo dip platter, both were delicious! The schnitzel was especially tasty. I highly recommend this place. The food is healthy and full of flavor.

Iām torn writing this because Iām not a fan of reviews. In my opinion, most people write them either to vent frustration or to praise something they truly love. Meanwhile, average places rarely get the recognition they deserve. Thatās why this might be my first and last review.
That said, thereās a hidden gem just below the Manayunk regional train station where service and food artistry come together beautifully.
Even before stepping inside, the wall art always caught my eye, it gave me that āwe need to try thisā feeling. The interior is just as striking: simple, colourful, and calming.
The husband-and-wife chef team have turned their life experiences into a welcoming space that feels like home. Their food reflects that same spirit, each bite is a masterclass in flavour. Nothing is missing, and nothing could be taken away. Itās culinary perfection. I honestly lost sleep thinking about how well they seasoned their meat.
If you havenāt tried Daraās food, youāre truly missing out.
It also helps that the owners are genuinely kind people, active in the community and always up for a warm conversation.
Wishing them all the best, and hoping more people discover this special place in Manayunk, Philadelphia.
I donāt understand all the 5 star reviews. Wasnāt anything special.
I ordered delivery from Dara and hereās my honest take:
I tried the chicken schnitzel wrap ā it was just okay. The bread wasnāt fresh and fell apart easily, though the chicken and salad inside were decent. I also got the āfamousā fries, but they were a bit too greasy for my taste.
That said, Iāve heard great things about the dine-in experience, so Iām planning to visit in person and update my review. For now, Iād generously give it a 4 out of 5.
What a lovely spot! We stopped here while biking on the River Trail, and got vegan pies and muhammara. The owner is so friendly, great and quick service. Everything was delicious.
Best Mediterranean food we've had in a while. Friendly owner. Must try!
