My wife and I have been to Darling Jacks a few times and have never been disappointed. The Tavern Dip has to be one of the best sandwiches in the city. The sliders are very good as well. The fries are exceptional. The happy hour is also one of the best in the city. This is our go to place. The staff is sooo great, I can’t say enough about them. If you’re looking for an old school cozy bar to enjoy a drink and relax, this is the place to go.

I had the Allentown signature cocktail, it's a Bourbon strawberry bitters adventure, worth every penny, $15. My second time here, my first was just as good. Great wine and an appetizer, steak tartar, the care in good quality is taste-able. Then, my third experience included an old fashioned, delicious, and the pea and asparagus salad as an appetizer, better with every bite, followed by the braised short rib cannelloni, rich and decadent, and then the banana pudding for dessert, so sweet it's wall-bouncing. My friend had 2 glasses of house cabernet. The bill was $82.

We stumbled in here on Memorial Day not knowing what to expect and Adam gave us amazing recommendations and service! Such a pleasant surprise finding this spot, the food, drinks, and service were above and beyond and we’ll be returning whenever we come back to Philly.

Great spot! The food was really good—especially the pizza, which was absolutely delicious with a crust that was pure perfection. Drinks were strong and hit the spot. The staff was super friendly and made the experience even better.

I came in with my girlfriend a week ago, and I'm still thinking about the food a week later IT WAS THAT GOOD!!! we came in as soon as they opened for lunch and the atmosphere was very very nice and laid back. I love the decor there but most importantly, I loveddddd the food. We only got calamari and the french dip sandwich to share but that french dip sandwich is SO DELICIOUS!!! I cannot stop thinking about it, and I love the variety of sauces we got with our food, Im a sauce girl so I loved being able to try something new. The calamari was delicious as well as the fries that came with our sandwich. Our waitress Hailey was very kind and attentive towards us, Overall: Darling Jacks IS the place to be we love it so so much. Definitely need to come back to try their burger, salad, and french onion soup!! I cant wait till we go back!! Thank you Hailey!!
