We are visiting from Augusta, GA and read awesome reviews, and they did not let us down! We got the roasted beets, the butternut squash pasta, and the brisket sandwich. It was all FANTASTIC. We were quiet while eating because we were too busy focusing on the food and every time we did talk it was about the food being so good, ha! Great atmosphere. We wish this spot was back home. We highly recommend this place.

Solid brunch place. Recommend the whipped feta and the cardamom milk bun (basically a Cinnabon). The ginger soda was very good too.
I really enjoyed this spot. It’s in a prime location next to many great restaurants. The bar is really nice and the atmosphere is pretty vibrant. I’m impressed with the food. The Cheese + Cheese tavern pizza was excellent. I don’t recall ever having a tavern pizza (they’re paper thin) and this is the first great tavern pizza I’ve tried. The shrimp and spaghetti was good, but not great. To make that dish great, I’d recommend to go light on the sauce so that when you finish the pasta, there isn’t a soup of sauce left on the plate. Last but not least, the steak frites with mushrooms and chimichurri sauce was done perfectly. I think it’s the best steak frites in the city. All in all, I’d give this place 5/5 because the tavern pizza and the steak frites left a strong impression on me. Highly recommend!

First off the restaurant is such a vibe. Sexy , romantic. I had a little solo celebratory dinner and Im glad I chose this place. Tyria is such a sweet and beautiful spirit. Shes so nice. Seated me right away. Love front of the house staff who are professional and polite as she is. Eddie my waiter, love him!! his energy. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and helped me with my choice. His infectious energy made me have a great meal. The whole restaurant looked like they had a great time. I can’t wait to come back when im in town and tell my friends . Thank yall

A great lunch outside with beautiful fall weather. Took our little pup too. Started with a Bloody Mary because…. And had the best french onion soup. Love the onion strings and the croutons in the soup were crunchy, and you weren’t suffocated with too much cheese. I had the tavern style sausage pizza with long hots and added mushroom. So good. My wife had the salmon bowl. A little too much dressing but enjoyed it. Great all around. And recommend anyone here for lunch.

Went earlier this week for restaurant week. Got the whipped ricotta toast, fish & chips, and banana pudding for dessert. The ricotta was a large portion, as were the f&c. The banana pudding was smaller but so delicious and creamy. I’ve heard great thing about it and it lived up to its name; it was an incredible meal and our server was very sweet and attentive. Definitely going back soon

We happened across Darling Jacks last night while looking for outside seating for dinner. The mozzarella stix, calamari and pepperoni pizza were delicious. Our server was very good about accommodating my picky kiddos. I know it’s not always easy to make changes to menu items, but I really appreciated it. The weather was perfect and we got to watch a large nighttime bike ride come through the street too. The inside of the restaurant was cool and moody, and the hostess was incredibly nice. Bathrooms were dark but clean.
