I have come to this place many times! As a Philly native, this place has been a great experience always! Eddie has been our server and has created an amazing environment. We are so appreciative of his care & thoughtfulness! We had a wonderful experience, and will be back again.
My wife and I have been to Darling Jacks a few times and have never been disappointed. The Tavern Dip has to be one of the best sandwiches in the city. The sliders are very good as well. The fries are exceptional. The happy hour is also one of the best in the city. This is our go to place. The staff is sooo great, I can’t say enough about them. If you’re looking for an old school cozy bar to enjoy a drink and relax, this is the place to go.
I had the Allentown signature cocktail, it's a Bourbon strawberry bitters adventure, worth every penny, $15. My second time here, my first was just as good. Great wine and an appetizer, steak tartar, the care in good quality is taste-able. Then, my third experience included an old fashioned, delicious, and the pea and asparagus salad as an appetizer, better with every bite, followed by the braised short rib cannelloni, rich and decadent, and then the banana pudding for dessert,...
