My wife and I had a very pleasent experience at the Das Good Cafe. The breakfast had a unique flare of flavors using Southeast Asian sauces. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about ingredients in the sauces and their origin in the country of Laos.

Well let's see I been going to this restaurant since they first open was going to the place on Germantown before they moved service there was always great and fast service always a crowd no sit in one person working behind the counter taking orders I go to this one on chelten they have 3 server's no one was in there but me and my wife server came up to us ask what we have to drink I ordered a coffee in a take out cup she ordered a hot tea now 3 people came in while we were seated young got here a coffee ☕️ and left out the other 2 were waiting at the counter they place there order and got there food we were the only ones at a table still waiting on are coffee and tea 25 minutes done went by I went up to the counter they act like they didn't notice me all 3 of them very very bad service sad because the food is great there I don't know if the original owners still have this place but need to get better waiters seriously.

We enjoyed our late breakfast at Das Good Cafe! It is nearby our home and very tasty so I am glad we found it! We had the chicken and waffles, Vietnamese Breakfast, and the Vietnamese Coffee. We will definitely be going back soon!

I’m pretty sure this is the best full-service breakfast up or down the Chestnut Hill-to-Germantown stretch. We got the Lao and Viet style breakfasts and both were delicious: bright, savory, satisfying. Very quick and friendly service and fairly priced. They have a ton of fancy iced teas and coffees (my Vietnamese iced coffee was perfect). This goes right on my list of the best spots in NW Philly.

I loved the atmosphere, great music and vibes. The food was delicious, we loved their chicken sandwich, Lao breakfast, and French toast. The hot sauce was so good we even bought a bottle which are available to go! Will definitely be back.
