The crabs are always huge and full. I think these were the best crabs I’ve had in Philly.

What a nice operation! Dawn checks every crab for proof of life before putting it in the bag or basket. Her bushels come with 100 crabs plus if you want to make crab gravy, she will rip the backs off for you. The prices are extremely inexpensive. It is worth the time to drive from Montgomery County. Every time I was in south Philly I looked for Dawn. I thought maybe because of the pandemic she decided to close but the truck was still parked in it’s usual spot. I was on my way to the Italian market to get crabs when I decided to see if Dawn had crabs today. To my surprise she was there. It was like finding my long lost friend. I have been getting crabs from Dawn and before Dawn her father for years. It was like a reunion. It was great chatting with her and her husband. The best crabs and great customer service.

Best crabs in the city, I purchased a bushel of the heaviest medium crabs I've ever gotten and the price was nice as well. I'll be sure to get to her a little earlier to cop those #1's.
